This bag went all over Italy and California with me and still looks like new. Quality is really good. I felt safe with it in Italy that is famous for pickpocketing as the main section sipper is hidden on the inside. The main section is large enough to fit a full size water bottle, scarf, and tons of other smaller items. I also love that it can easily convert from backpack to a messenger bag format (to get on the plane or in Italy, there are places where you cannot go in with a backpack but can with a bag).

I rarely give 5 stars. But this deserves one. It's beautiful and light weight. The embroidery is typical Chinese and very feminine. It is well designed with convenient side pockets. The bag closes next to the body so it's secure. The zippers have large tabs for easy use. The inside has additional pockets. And the bag is deep enough for large items. In addition, the pretty shoulder strap is perfect size to wrap around the sides and the bottom as decoration. And it is long enough for across the shoulder. I just didn't like the label "DEAUTY 1987" on it. So I covered it up with a piece of soft cloth which gives the shoulder strap additional cushion.

The bag is very pretty and sturdy. Good zippers. However, it doesn’t feel as roomy as my regular crossbody purse. (Not all the items transferred over to this bag. That being said, I am still happy with the bag and will continue to use it.

I took this pack (I bought the black one with plum blossom embroidery) on a trip to Asia for a couple of weeks. I got so many compliments! The pack is perfect for traveling as an alternative to a purse: it has the main opening in the back, so it feels secure when you wear it. On the front, there are two vertical zippered pockets which can accommodate small items such as lip moisturizer and glasses. On the sides, it has slip-in pockets which can hold a small water bottle. Inside the main pack, there are a couple of pockets for organization. When I needed to, I could also fit my iPad in here with some maneuvering, although the opening was a bit small for that. I liked this pack because it was convenient for touring all day, more comfortable than a purse because I could wear it on my back, and cute enough that I could take it out to restaurants. The size was perfect: not too big, not too small. It comes with a strap so you could carry it cross-body, but I haven’t used it that way.
