package came on time and in a larger-than-life box. Yes, the shipping box is larger than one would think, but it ensures the tube does not get bent! The item is in a sealed package inside the box. Be sure to not remove your dipstick-tube until ready to replace with new one. Remove the metric bolt holding the mounting arm and place to the side, have the new ready to go and it is just like Plug & Play. If in question take a picture of the existing installation due to wiring placement, etc.; so that upon placing the new one in nothing gets in the way. Use a headlight of some means to illuminate the oil port hole in the engine block. Slide the new in place and you will fill it slip into the hole with a firm push so the O-ring on the tube pops into the block. We took a little oil off the dip stick and lightly oiled the O-ring on the new dip stick tube so it would slip right in. Install the mounting bolt, do not over tighten, and slip the dipstick back in the tube and done. Yes, it can be awkward but just focus and on how the old came out and place the new in place just like the old one; Plug & Play. ... show more
