The directions say to leave the stickers exposed to light for 24 hours before use. My 3-year-old wouldn't let me wait 3 minutes before sticking them on the wall, so they had a solid 5 minutes of me using the flashlight on my phone to activate. They were faint, but visible. You really cannot see the individual colors as vibrantly as the pictures lead you to believe. My daughter loves them so much. The moons are very nice, and actually *glow* in the dark. They're kind of mesmerizing to stare at. However, the moons and stars keep falling off the wall! The adhesive is terrible! For now, I have resorted to using double-sided tape; where there is tape, the moons adhere. But, wherever there is no tape, they try to peel off the wall. ... show more

These glow in the dark really well. They were a little smaller than I expected and some of them didn’t stick to our wall the best (we do have a slightly textured wall). But knowing we have a textured wall they worked out as I thought. I would recommend.
