I decided to use them on our fabric dressers instead of the walls because I was afraid of not being able to peel them off the walls should we ever move. When I was a child I had little sticker stars that I got as a gift and put them all over my ceiling. I now have a five year old daughter and when I saw this listing I was reminded of how much I liked these kind of sticker stars so I decided to give them a try. What I really like about this set is that it comes with more than just stars. There's fairies, a princess, a unicorn, butterflies and even a sheet of little dot shapes. At first I thought the dots seemed random but once you apply the stars and pepper in the dots randomly it really makes the whole motif look really great. Now I was struggling to get a good picture of the stars in my daughters room because my camera once I turned the lights off just wasn't picking up on them glowing but they do glow well when looking at them. It was just my camera so I wasn't able to post pictures of them in my listing. I do know that if you have a black light that is an excellent way to charge up glow in the dark stars to make them really bright. Just turn the black light on in the room for a few moments and then turn it off and the stars will glow extra bright. It was a trick I used to use as a kid in my bedroom. What I really like about these stars is that application is simple and easy and they peel off the ceiling and walls just as easily as they apply. I placed some stars on the ceiling and ended up rearranging some and the reapplied just as easily. Now I imagine if you peeled them off the walls or ceiling repeatedly eventually they aren't going to hold as strong but luckily I only had to rearrange a few of the stars. They come with a lot too so I was able to cover her ceiling with them and got great coverage. I've tried other brands of stars that are plastic and come with a sticky tack you place in the back but those never hold well and the sticky tack sometimes leaves an oily residue or stain so these stars are really the perfect kind to use. These glow in the dark fairy decorations look exactly like the pictures. They are the perfect size to put on the wall up around the bed to add a magical, whimsical feel to the bedroom. These decals stick well but also remove easily. I was able to apply them and then move some of them to better locations without any damage. They also stuck well even after moving them. I can't speak for how easily they will come off after being on long term though. All eight of the pictured figures were included in the pack as well as tons of butterflies, stars, and dots. I was wondering if the fairies would be holding butterflies or not since they were in some of the pictures but they are not. I believe that in the pictures on the listing they layered the small butterfly decals with the larger fairy decals so it just appears that way. That gives you the option to do it either way once you get them home. I put them on the wall and they were "charged" and ready by that night. The glow was very nice and lasted well into the night. My little girl is so happy with all the little fairies around her bed! ... show more
