These Glossy Magnetic Garage Door Windows are a total disappointment. First off, the quality feels cheap — the magnets are flimsy and don’t sit properly. Unlike an interconnected kit, these are all individual magnets that you have to align perfectly yourself, which makes installation an absolute nightmare. Getting them spaced correctly and straight is a tedious process, and even after careful alignment, they don’t always stay in place as you’d hope. For something that’s supposed to enhance your garage door, it ends up being more frustrating than decorative. Honestly, I regret buying this — it’s not worth the hassle.

Great item!! The magnets are strong. They came packaged with paper between each magnet which prevented them from sticking together. Super easy installation. Definitely not flimsy. The only suggestion I would make is if it came with a foldable spacing guide to help put the magnets on that way they would be even but I think I was able to judge the spacing. I was unsure of how it would look against a brown door, but they are perfect. If you want to elevate the look of your home, this is for you!! Now I wish I would’ve ordered the magnetic hardware, but that will be my next item.

I really wanted to love these. I’ve been eyeing magnetic garage windows for a while as a way to modernize our 1990s home during our renovation, but these just didn’t live up to the hype. Up close, they look very fake. The finish isn’t glossy enough to pass as glass, so unless you’re standing far away (think across the street), it’s obvious they’re just magnets. Any slight texture or bump in the garage door shows through, and on a door that isn’t perfectly smooth, it shows a lot. The sizing was also off for my door. They’re slightly too large for each panel’s window section, which would require trimming to make them fit properly — not something I’m willing to do for something I’m not sure I’ll keep. Getting them aligned evenly is another challenge. It’s harder than it looks to make them all line up perfectly, and small misalignments are very noticeable. Nice idea, but in real life they just don’t deliver the polished look I was hoping for.
