This comforter is delightful! Sleeping in it has been heavenly!! My husband and I are different sleepers, he runs hot and I run cold, but we decided to give this cozy winter comforter a try despite our temperature differences. We like to sleep with the house at 68 degrees year round so getting a thicker comforter wasn’t too worrisome. With our old down comforter I’d often go to bed cold and wake up drenched with sweat, so I was feeling pretty desperate to find a happy medium and this comforter far exceeded my expectations! Also I am using a 400 TC 100% cotton duvet cover and was worried that would contribute to an overly warm cocoon but it’s cozy, breathable perfection. One thing i hate/love about down comforters is that they are both cold to the touch but overall warming. Because of that hot/cold feeling if I am cold getting into a down comforter it takes me a lot longer to warm up, but in the summer months that can feel quite nice. However with this comforter I can go to bed with cold feet and they warm up quickly since it doesn't have that cold contact feeling I'd get from full down comforters. It is the perfect warm temperature but not suffocatingly so. Out of the box the comforter fluffed up in about 30 minutes. There was no plastic smell but the blanket does make a minor whisper-like crinkle sound as you move it around. Any ways, this comforter is FLUFFY! It feels so luxurious to jump into haha. But i think that gorgeous fluff also helps with breathability while we sleep. Like i said i would often wake up sweaty in our old 100% down comforters, but this comforter does NOT have that problem! Both my husband and i are able to maintain a lovely temperature each night. This comforter is on par with the comforter at a luxury hotel we stayed at on our honeymoon and it just feels decadent to sleep in. I don't know how it's possible but Globon managed to make the PERFECT comforter. And it's so reasonably priced for the stellar quality you're getting. Update: We ended up buying the all season comforter to use during the hot summer months. Still absolutely worth the value.

I usually buy my comforter from department store, like Macy’s. A friend recommended a down comforter last winter she bought on amazon, I gave it a try and very happy with the price and quality! The only thing I am not so happy is the weight. I like a little bit weight in the cold days. This comforter is perfect match for my all requirements. It’s heavier than most of the light goose down comforter, the color is grey (not easy to get dirty) , it’s very warm. The fabric is very soft and comfortable touching skin. It’s well made, didn’t see any feather coming out from the cover. If you love warm comforter with some weight, this one is right for you!

I am overall very happy with this comforter. It was delivered on time, (after I called and complained about the delay!) and came nicely packaged. It came with a duffel bag - not sure why as I am not going to be traveling with it, but I guess if I quit using it, it will be a nice to store the comforter in. It is light weight and looks very nice. I thought it would be a little "puffier." According to the description and the directions that came with it, once you remove it from the sealed bag, shake it (or put it in a commercial drier) and let it sit for a day or two and it will puff up, but after several days it is about half as thick as the picture shows. Not a big deal and definitely not worth going to a laundry mat to put it in a commercial drier. I did end up using a duvet cover to protect it. The comforter replaced two quilts, and it is still warm. And, yes, dog hair brushes right off! UPDATE: After having the comforter on the bed for a while longer it has puffed up. I am very happy and have changed my rating to 5 stars. I am considering on buying another set for my guest room bed.

It's 2023 and the fluff and thickness is dissipating. The fluff moved around and it's flat on the sides. Originally purchased in 2017 and it's just now going bad in 2023...not too bad. Now it's 2023 and I purchased the same one from this exact seller in the "heavyweight" winter version again. Same as last one. This new one is absolutely the thinnest blanket ever. I mean thinner than ever like a heavy sheet or summer cover. I returned. What a sham. ITS BEEN WEEKS SINCE MY RETURN AND I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY MONEY BACK!!!!!! It's a nice duvet with ties to hold the cover in place. Stays fluffed up and is very breathable. With it being very nice, I believe the price was a bit high. The same quality could have been achieved in a 100 insert. *** update on previous review*** Very very nice duvet insert! I absolutely love it! It is beyond amazingly breathable and doesn't make you sweat. The weight is perfect as I like to have it frigid in my house so I can snuggle in my blankie. It really is a lot of money but I would pay it again because it's amazing. ***update to the update**** I have owned this since 2017. I have washed it multiple times since. It is June 2013 and it is just now starting to be clumpy in some spots and flat in others. I'm still going to try and fix it but I will absolutely purchase again. The most comfortable insert I have ever owned.
