    • Decent Hydrating primer....a little expensive
Since moving to the desert and aging (over 40 now), I've had to adjust some of the products to find more that are more hydrating. I gave this primer a try and it worked well enough to keep product on my face for the whole day. I usually use face sticks such as eye shadow sticks, contour sticks, and blush sticks since they don't dry out my skin. With this primer, I've found that those products stay on a little longer and keeps my face hydrated. I have also have sensitive skin that is prone to breakouts but did not have any issues with this product. It does seem a little pricey but it's apparently a nice brand so have to take that into account. I'm not used to paying 42 bucks for a primer but feel like I could get a drugstore brand for cheaper. ... show more

This primer has a really nice velvety feel to it. When I apply it my skin feels soft but not like it’s just sitting on top of my skin which I like. My makeup stayed put all night for a wedding with this and I have very oily skin so I was very impressed. Would recommend!

So I applied this after using cleanser and serums. I did notice a smoother result after applying my foundation. The texture is almost like a thick gel but a little smoother.

Although I had expected nothing, this primer brought about a noticeable difference to my skin, in my opinion. Lightly dabbing the primer on strategic parts of my face, it dried fairly quickly, and then I went about my day. A few hours later, when I checked my makeup, it still looked good, and my face had some color. It wasn’t a literal glow, of course, but it certainly looked like I had a bit of a wind induced splash of color. After a few more days of use, I also noticed a smoother feel to my face, especially my cheeks, where I seem to be low on the smooth quotient. I really like this hydrating primer! It's kind of a grainy-without-being-grainy texture, and it's thicker like a gel. It's hard to describe without just feeling it. But it's a nice, soft texture that hydrates really well. Overall, I would probably be interested in switching to this primer as my go-to. But the price is pretty expensive; and like most primers, the tube is always smaller than you're expecting. Because of this, I'm probably priced out and will keep looking for my forever primer. But if money wasn't an issue, I would get this again. ... show more

This primer offers a smooth base and keeps my skin moisturized throughout the day. While it does enhance makeup application, I noticed it could be slightly greasy for oily skin types, which might not suit everyone.

This makeup base is moisturizing. If the face is not moisturized enough or is dry, the foundation on the surface will dry out or delaminate, making the makeup look unnatural. This increases skin moisture.
