I was working on a Chinese 150cc 4 stroke scooter that wouldn't start when the motor was cold. After setting the valves, cleaning the carb, compression test, and checking all the other common trouble spots, I put this on. Motor started immediately. Worked in my case, and was fairly cheap to do.

Got this in pretty quick. The protective plastic cover was a little long and wouldn't seat. It was bottoming out on one of the retaining bolts. Nothing an exacto knife couldn't fix. A quick trim and we where in business. It looks just as good as the factory part and it was an instant improvement over the 6 year old factory unit. The connector that came with the new unit was white and my bikes factory connector is red. A few quick jabs with a small jewellers screwdriver and I swapped my factory red connector over to the new unit. I wanted to remove a star off for that but I'm sure it's impossible to know which machine has which color connector. Installed in a 2010 kymco super 8 150 ... show more
