I have both the 2.5" version and 4.0" versions of these clamps, and I love them. They are pretty well made, and having that bright green knob to tighten and loosen is so much easier than having to use a screwdriver or other tool. You have to be a little careful to avoid some sharp edges when tightening, but that's definitely par for the course. I originally bought the first pack because they were cheap. These are nicely made and easy enough to use. I use them for securing 4" flexible hose to machines on the exhaust port. Since I occasionally need to swap the hose among a couple of different machines, it's nice to have a steel band that can be used as quickly and with as few tools as possible. and is indeed stainless steel. The screw thread is novel, Acme style that grips that retains the band better. The screw however is not SS but is rust resistant treated [why not rated 5]. Still an excellent value.

These work great! No tools needed. I used these to mount some clips to a pipe. The clips will hold a tool. The product worked perfect, I unscrewed the clamp until I could open it to put around the pipe. It was easy to re-engage the clamp by twisting the green knob clockwise while threading the band back into the clamp mechanism. I only needed 2 of these clamps for my needs but because of how great they worked I’m glad to have extras for other uses. ... show more

As other reviewers have said the plastic part that you spin to use these clamps likes to hit the band as your are tightening them down, minor annoyance to keep in mind if you will be using these often. For this price delivered to my door these deserve 5 stars.

I like that I don't need to use a screwdriver (sonic or otherwise) to tighten these clamps. They work great on a 4 inch dust collector hose and fitting. Seems well made. I thought I bought the 4" but somehow got the 2 1/2. So just check dropdowns to make sure you got right size. But otherwise the construction seems good and like the buttons to turn. No screw driver needed.

I used these clamps to connect the 4 inch flexible hoses to the fittings for my woodworking shop, when I designed my dust collection system. They were very easy to adjust with eat built in thumb screws and I would definitely recommend them to anyone.
