Description

Glidden Total Interior Paint + Primer is extremely durable so it holds up to whatever life throws at it. This low NULL/zero VOC paint has outstanding scrubbability and washability so repeated, frequent cleaning is no problem. Get the job done right with excellent hide and coverage. All this and its backed by our lifetime guarantee. Recommended for use on concrete/masonry, concrete block, ferrous metal, gypsum wallboard-drywall, plaster, or wood. American Anthem is a midtone, shaded, indigo blue with a cobalt undertone. It is a perfect paint color nor a New England inspired living room. Pair it with cherry woods and trim in an off-white undertone. COVERAGE: Approximately 400 sq. ft. (37.2 sq. meters) per U.S. Gallon (3.78L) on smooth, nonporous surfaces. DRYING TIME: Dry time @ 77ºF (25ºC); 50% relative humidity. To Touch: 1 hour; To Recoat: 4 hours; To Full Cure: 30 days CLEANUP: Clean tools with warm, soapy water. WASHING INSTRUCTIONS: Wait at least 30 days after painting before cleaning the surface with a non-abrasive mild cleaner. Colorants added to this base paint may increase VOC level significantly depending on color choices. Drying time listed may vary depending on temperature, humidity, film build, color, and air movement.

A calming blue color that ties a long open space together well. A little thick, which I like. Covers well. Paint pads are a good choice and no brush streaks. Color looks way too light until it dries, then it's perfect. I dislike the way I have to have help opening the cans because of arthritis.

Knew the color I wanted and when I saw this was Sailors Coat Blue, it was kismet since I was using this for a ship-themed bathroom. Turned out gorgeous and only needed 2 coats to cover light grey.
