  • Nicely made case that will suit certain owners
Size: 41" Dreadnought Style Color: yellow
Bought a used guitar which turned out to be so nice, I wanted to protect it with a hard case. Using the very helpful measurements in the listing, I determined the Glarry tweed case should fit my inexpensive dreadnought. When the case arrived, I crossed my fingers and hoped it would fit. Not only does it fit, it looks like it was made for this guitar. Sits in there snugly and the case height couldn't be better. This case is suitable for protecting a guitar around the house and providing a space for it that can be humidity controlled. It's fine for ordinary transporting but I would not recommend it for heavy travel. If you are gigging with your guitar, get a case that's made for heavy duty use. It also doesn't lock, but I don't think I've ever used any of the locks on my other guitar cases. My other small concern is that it smells of new plastics and chemicals, which is to be expected. I'm not sure how well that smell is going to age but time will tell. . For the reasonable price, I'm very happy with this good-looking, nicely-made case which suits my needs well. ... show more

  • very happy
Size: 41" Dreadnought Style Color: yellow
It came a day early. It is of very good quality and I have many hard shell cases and this 1 is rt up there with them. All my other 1's are blk so the change in color and pattern is a nice change. Best of all it is about 20-30 $ less than the others. I will be buying more of these. Hard shells keep your guitar from drying out and if it does get dry you can put a humidifier in it and it will work faster and last longer. Also this 1 will hold a large 12 string yet can still put a 6 string in it, but if U got 1 for a 6 U can't put a 12 in it. I also get my humidifiers from amazon. Ya, I have a lot of guitars. U can never have enough. K a add on. I have a Ventura 12 string. They are known for a big body and a lot of sound and are rare. It would not fit in this case. I have a martin 12 and a Vangoa 12 string. They both do fit but are tight but snug is good. Check the length on your guitar and match with case and ya ,I still like this case. it's great for 6 strings and think it would fit most 12's. I needed another but amazon wasn't listing it. I found another about same price but they wanted 30$ shipping. So I checked this one again and it was back on. I have a walbash 6 string made in 1959. I was born in 1952. I got it for Xmas when I was in 2nd grade. I got it in a case that is not a hard shell but a good case, but not a hard shell. So I have ordered another making it 2 I have. I will be getting more. Amazon keep sealing this 1. I got my 1rst 12 string when I was in 4th grade and a 12 guy since. They walbash is a arched top like Roy ragers and Jean otrie used. With I could send U a pick. I buy a new guitar every xmas. My xmas gift. Last yr I got a 6 and a 12. I have many gaiter causes and this is equal. I wish I could send a pic but don't know how. I have walbash in it now out and open. Will look at it all day than humidifie agin and put way. Ya it still plays, had to repaint and fill holes from fingers from use but is in mint condition. For U keepers, I also have a Kraftsman electric 6 and a mandolin Kraftsman both made in 1950. My ventura 12 was made in 1954 The best in in this other case. It's a cheap china made 6 that my son found 2 wks before xmas. He found it in a dumpster. He bout it to me. Missing strings, neck warped, a hole and crack on back. I knew what I needed so that day orderd all from amazon. By xmas I had it in great shape. ai have a 1200$ martin 6 and would rather play this 1. I have probably 100$ in it including case. Never judge a book by its cover. 2 yrs ago I learned how to repair string instruments from Utube and was able to find all the tools and material from amazon to do it. Amazon I am old and don't walk very good. My son gets my groceries in the city once a month. I live in a small town and don't venture fare. U are very helpful to me. If U could please email me and tell me how to send a pic. ... show more

  • Great case
Size: 41" Dreadnought Style Color: yellow
This case is nice. It seems to be built well. It is a little snug on my Yamaha but that's ok. Like others have said, it has a bad solvent smell. I've left it open outside quite a long time. Still has some lingering smell but I think it'll go away eventually.

  • vintage color and durabililty
Size: 41" Dreadnought Style Color: yellow
Theonly acoustic guitar case I will buy, love the mustard yellow color, the texture is like stiff corduroy, fits a dreadnought guitar perfectly snug. Glad to see something colorful with music instead of black being the only option. And this chipboard case is classic. better than any padded case by far. and no need of one of those bomb proof over priced ones that cost more than the guitar they are holding. Leave that stuff to the pros. I got 2 of these now, love them. ... show more

  • Snug fit for my Yamaha acoustic!
Size: 41" Dreadnought Style Color: yellow
Quality item at a great price! The padding is very thick and at first I didn’t think my guitar would fit. It’s snug, but when I pushed it in where it was tight the case is a really good fit. The guitar doesn’t move at all in the case. The tweed finish is also very nice as is the locking case. Measure carefully before ordering! ... show more

  • Great value for the money
Just wanted an inexpensive violin to see if I could remember how to play from my junior high days, over 60 years ago. The case was wonderful, the violin was surprisingly nice, considering the price. Only problem is the strings won't stay tuned. They don't stay tightened. I am considering adding some wooden toothpicks to the holes or even some glue. Not sure what to do because I don't want to mess it up. ... show more

  • Fit, sturdiness, value - all great!
The media could not be loaded. I needed a nice case for a OM-style guitar I built for a friend. Since I was shipping the guitar I wanted something sturdy. It fit like a glove, per the measurements. It shipped perfectly, without any incidents. The case also looks fantastic and the leather handle is a plus. Latches are good, and I don't see any problem, but if you're travelling a lot you may want to keep an eye on them for wear or misalignment. It's really a great case for the price. ... show more

  • Holds a 660 classical guitar just fine
Size: 41" Dreadnought Style Color: yellow
I've been looking for a case for an older, larger-bodied classical guitar that is 660 scale length, instead of the usual 650. The trouble with classical guitar cases in general is that they only fit standard sized nylon guitars. Mine is a deeper in the lower bout and slightly longer. This Glarry case is not the highest quality case ever, but for the price, it gets the job done well if you have a larger classical guitar. I am surprised that it is advertised as a dreadnought case though. Doesn't seem big enough for a dreadnought. You might want to check the dimensions of your instrument before giving it a try. Price is great for a hard case. the color is unique enough that no one will pick up your guitar by accident. Sturdy feet and decent locks as far as I can tell. One downside: it smells like plastic, so plan to air it out in the sun before you use it, if you don't like new case smell. ... show more
