  • Cant wait to travel to Glacier now!
Format: Kindle
I like the way this book is written. It’s to the point and not a lot of fluff. I learned a lot about the park in general, from the history to all the many attractions. I have never been to this park, but I feel like I know it so much better. I really love the breakdown of hikes, lakes, trails, and glaciers. It gave me knowledge of the specific aspects of each part. The pro tips, insider tips, must-sees, and suggestions at the end of the sections are very helpful. I also think it was a great idea to include 1-day, 3-day, and 7-day suggestions for planning purposes. There are very good suggestions on preparation and safety for any level traveler. I thought it was super cool and appreciate the QR codes for getting to the permit area, weather, etc. Some suggestions I would recommend in further editions include information about RV, trailer, etc., access, use, and options. Plus, more pictures of the things mentioned in the park would be great. Otherwise, I would highly recommend this book and can’t wait to see the park! ... show more

  • Great!
Format: Kindle
This guidebook is filled with beautiful photos throughout, which made it easier for me to decide where to visit. It also offers helpful details about hiking trails, including difficulty levels, estimated time, and what to expect, all of which I found very useful. I appreciated the practical information provided, such as emergency and safety tips. I also liked that it mentioned the importance of Leave No Trace principles, a great reminder for all travelers. ... show more

  • Keep looking for a Glacier Guide
Format: Kindle
This travel guide is extremely basic and does not have details to really help plan a trip to the park. The organization of the chapters seems like a second thought, and they need more information for them. Almost all the sections have two to three little paragraphs that seem to skim the surface of the topic and skip being comprehensive. For instance, there are SEVEN principles of Leave No Trace. This guide only mentions a few. Even the itineraries written are really only one. It is a seven-day itinerary, but if you only have one day, do day 1, if you have three days, do the first 3 days. ... show more

  • Great travel guide
Format: Kindle
This guide for Glacier National Park is so informative. It goes through what to do, the best ways to see the park, the history of the park, and places to stay within and outside the park. I liked how it had a plan for your length of stay and what to see either 1 day. 3 days, and 7 days. And the pictures are gorgeous. Plus, it includes vital maps and other information via links and QR codes. It has it all. ... show more

It’s packed with great information and helpful tips on navigating the park and getting the most out of your trip. The photos are stunning. One of the better constructed guides that we’ve purchased. • Lots of pictures and information
Format: Kindle
Great resource for planning a trip to Glacier. Lots of pictures and information on the park and the history. I love the guides based on how long you will be there – and what to see if you are there a day vs a week. Also includes several handy guides, maps, and links to other tools to use at the park! ... show more

  • Basic overview, but needs more pictures and maps
Format: Kindle
Basic overview of Glacier National Park without details I want such as pictures and maps. While it's true that there are a few pictures scattered throughout the book, what I would have liked to see was something like: 'hike this trail' followed by a few pictures taken FROM THAT TRAIL. It would also be helpful to have multiple maps. Another question I wish the book had answered was this: since Glacier National Park is connected to Waterton Lakes National Park in Canada, do you need a passport to go to the Canada side? Do you need to purchase an additional pass? How does that work? ... show more
