I have mixed feelings about this cane. I think it would be perfect for air travel — it’s lightweight and folds easily so it can fit into the seat pocket in front of you ( I hate it when flight attendants try to take your cane, promising to return it when you need it. Yeah, sure, in an emergency the first thing you are going to do is run and get me my cane!). It also folds compactly for TSA scanning. And unlike many of its competitors it really does extend to the length it promises — a real plus for taller folks. The reservations I have about this cane may really just be a matter of esthetics— or it may be a tip-off to substantial problems. I got the cane in silver, which unfortunately gives it a cheap and flimsy appearance. But is it really? Only time will tell I guess but I wouldn’t count on it for every day use. The aluminum shaft appears thin-walled and it seems like an accidental encounter with a parking meter or a concrete staircase could give it a significant dent. The plastic handle is cheap-feeling and has a seam right down its center — you’ll have to cover or sleeve it if you don’t want a blister on your palm. The tip is adequate, and has several concentric channels in order to reduce the chance of slipping. Still for everyday use you’ll probably want to upgrade to a self-standing foot. But I am very enthusiastic about the legitimate length this cane can reach. So four stars for this cane as a traveling companion — slightly less for everyday use..

I had hip surgery a while back, and while I have graduated from a "walker" and a cane for daily use, I still prefer to have a walking helper device handy in case I overextend myself or become tired. That's where this folding cane comes in. It is lightweight, foldable, and can fit in a briefcase, carry all, or a medium size purse. And with the handy carrying case, it is a breeze to put together or take apart. All the parts are well made and fit together well. The handle is comfortable, height adjustment is easy (although you have to take it down to the lowest size to fit back in the carrying case). When put together for use, the cane feels sturdy. This device is not one you would want for "all day every day" use (that's not what it is made for or constructed for). But for occasional use when needed, it certainly checks all the boxes and can be relied upon to keep you "upright and heading straight ahead."

A few years ago I bought one of the cheapest canes I could find on Amazon that at least had decent reviews. I paid $12 and now it is at $16, still less expensive than this cane. I thought for the money it was pretty good. This cane has less quality and is more wobbly than that one, but it works fine. My other cane (Pepe) had a plastic holder to keep the 4 pieces together when folded up, this one does not. I can tell this cane does not have the strength the other cane has and is somewhat lighter. I am only 170 pounds at 6’ 2” and this can works fine for me, but if I were overweight I probably would go with a stronger cane. Item came well packaged and was undamaged. I will keep this review up to date if any new issues arise as time passes.

This cane is on par with other folding canes we have. Decent construction that appears to be fairly sturdy and adjustable. It’s also lighter than any others we have. It also packs up easily and to a nice compact size if needed. If you are flying, the ability to fold and stow is nice as you can stow it with your personal belongings rather than having it stowed in the overhead bin. A pretty major inconvenience if you have to travel with a cane in the first place. If there is any downside, it is that the handle is not padded. The handle is comfortable, but if you have to use it for any length of time, padding can make the difference. Not too bad overall. 1/2 point off for lack of padding on the handle, but all else is pretty good.

I recently fell and needed a cane. I knew I wouldn't really need something for long term, and the price was right, so I got the GKK Folding Cane. I like that it's foldable, which makes it compact and easy to travel with. I'm not sure of how long it will last with regular use because it's so lightweight. I'm thinking it would get banged up pretty quickly. But for traveling and occasional use, it works great.

As I'm getting older my joints are starting to fail me so I got this cheap and portable cane for the time in the future when I'll need it. I easily adjusted it to the shortest setting so I can use it with my arm fully extended. It easily supports my weight and the handle is comfortable, though it did arrive with a couple small gashes in the plastic which don't impact the comfort. It just as easily disassembles and goes back into the cheap plastic carrying case.

This is convenient to keep in your car or anywhere but seems very lightweight aluminum so I don’t know if it would bend if a very heavy person put their full weight on it. It has elasticized bungee type cord inside keeping each piece together and each piece connects together easily. The handle is comfortable and the wrist strap is good so you don’t have to lean the cane on anything taking a chance on it dropping.

I got this cane as a spare to have around the house for visitors who use canes. The first thing I noticed is the play in the joints that seems excessive when compared to other canes I have used. It is very light weight. I believe it will handle the body weight required but just doesn't give the confidence that others do. The tip is a very hard rubber and doesn't grip as well as what we have used before. I will keep it as a spare/car cane but would not rely on it as an every day cane.
