The Quarter is one of the lowest-profile helmets weve ever made, and its also the lightest we've made with an ABS shell. The essentials are here an EPS liner for impact management, a tough outer shell, riveted webbing anchors and plush, sweat absorbent pads that are easy to swap for dialing in the fit. Another standout feature the polyurethane coating helps to protect the EPS liner from daily wear and tear. Available in a bunch of great colors and three Super Fit sizes.

Honestly the quality is better than what I expected. Seriously hardly anything I buy on amazon really does exceed my expectation. It fits perfect on my head and does not move around like other cheap healmets. Not the lowest profile but doesn't look too bad compare to other helmets. It's little bit heavier than my road helmet but i bought this for short rides anyway. It can feel little small so I would recommend buying bigger size if you are in the middle of two sizes. ... show more

I did a LOT of research before purchasing this helmet. My partner bought the black matte version @ Sports Basement for $40 and it looked super cute on her. When I went to get my own (merge!), they were sold out but no worries-- they had a bright green matte one to better fit my personality! The color is awesome and there's no excuse for a car not seeing me now. The fit for small IS small. It fits my head perfectly but anyone with a slightly larger head may walk away with a headache. Also, I'd much rather pay $27 than $40. The only reason I'm giving this helmet 4 stars and not 5 is because there's not a lot of breathing with this helmet. There are only 4 slits for air. After a long bike ride, my head's pretty sweaty. But I mostly use this for city biking anyway. If you want a bike for long tours, this wouldn't be the helmet for you. ... show more

This helmet protest your head plain and simple. It is lightweight but well made. Being an old guy on a skateboard or mountain bike I tend to fall and crash more than I used to, so the Giro Quarter keep me safe and ready to go. I love the Matte Lime color, it keeps me visible on the trails to other bikers/hikers or on the streets when riding in traffic. ... show more

This helmet saved my life! A few weeks ago I had a strong fall from my bicycle. I fell on my head and then on my back (with rib, clavicle and shoulder blade fractures) it was a strong impact, and thanks to this helmet I am still here. obviously I bought another one with the intention that it was exactly the same (just change the color to red) and my disappointment is to notice that it was not the same (it does not have MIPS technology) and there is no way to choose if you want it or not, it is almost a matter of Good luck which one you get. But I thank Giro and the designers of this helmet for saving my brainiac (and life) ... show more
