Description
The heart of the Helios's extraordinary design and performance is Spherical Technology, which utilizes a ball-and-socket design powered by Mips®, the market-leading brain protection system that can help to reduce rotational forces. Spherical Technology allows the helmet's outer liner to rotate around the inner liner during a crash, and also allows Progressive Layering of the inner and outer liners to provide more comprehensive protection and performance. In addition to advanced head protection, the Helios's 15 Wind Tunnel vents provide exceptional cooling power that's enhanced by our patented Roc Loc 5 Air fit system and plush, antimicrobial XT2 padding for exceptional sweat absorption. It's the ideal match for your road and gravel adventures.

Comfortable
Comfortable and well ventilated. Fitted correctly, it feels like it will provide the protection that other reviews claim.

A sweet, cool, and safe helmet!
Color: Matte Black Fade
Size: Large
Finally! A helmet that not only fits my big head, but looks sweet and has an awesome-looking design and very good safety technology and construction. Cost me a bit more than my last helmet, but my head out there do. It’s so very light, has awesome ventilation, and the straps work very well too. Those are other important selling points for me. If you have a pretty big head and can afford the price, BUY this helmet. You won’t be disappointed… unless you’re not wearing it correctly. Then it’s YOUR problem, lol. On a serious note, you can always take your helmet to your local bike shop and ask them to help you fit and adjust your helmet. Don’t settle for a cheap helmet! Shop around and spend money on the only head you have!! Replace your helmet every three (3) years, or after you have an accident, God forbid. It doesn’t matter how minor the accident may have been. If you hit your head, replace the helmet. Please wear your bicycle helmets, people! Don’t be a craniotomy statistic. I worked at a trauma center for many years and we had lots of patients who had to have their skulls opened up to access their brains – all because they wanted to “look cool” and not wear a helmet.🤦🏻♂️

La La Love
Color: Matte Black Crossing (2022)
Size: Small
Crashed and this helmet probably saved me a lot of heartache, I loved it so much I had to replace it with the same one. I have a really tiny head and this is one of the few helmets that aren’t too big.

Excellent packaging
Color: Matte Black Crossing (2022)
Size: Medium
Wanted a spherical shape for better fit and it is indeed a nice fit, light weight as well. Impressed with carful packaging by the seller, wrapped in rain proof plastic, and two reinforced corners where the original Giro box didn't have.

Great Helmet Except for Two Things...
Color: Matte Black Fade
Size: Medium
Fits great, cups the head well and inspires confidence in safety by simply blending in and making it feel like you're not wearing a helmet. The piece of mind that the spherical tech gives is nice and paired with the fact that it fits like a glove with a huge range of adjustability is even better. BUT 1. This helmet is pretty loud when you're moving at speed. Like really loud. 2. There really aren't any perfect places to store your sunglasses. I love having a spot in the vents that you can slip your sunnies on those early morning rides to have them handy for when the sun comes over the hills. I've tried with 100% Glendales and S2 along with a pair of Smith Arena and haven't really gotten them in a spot where they're securely out of the way. Bummer, but ultimately the safety and fit overcomes this.

This helmet is very comfortable
Color: Matte Ano Blue (2022)
Size: Large
I was not sure if I should get this helmet or the Giro Aries. I could not determine the difference by reading the description. I feared that the helmet might be too small but the helmet and the chin strap has plenty of room. During Covid it was hard to find bike products so I ended up buying a low-end Giro helmet that even though it was a (large) it felt very small and the chin strap was very short. I am happy to report that this helmet fits like most Giro helmets I have worn for over 20 years. It fits perfectly. This helmet is very light and comfortable. Thank you!
