This is an excellent foundation. Yes it is expensive but you get what you pay for. It’s very lightweight but buildable. It doesn’t sink into lines and it has the feel of wearing no makeup. Normally I buy this foundation through Sephora but when I’m lucky I can find it on Amazon and save a little money. This foundation comes in a myriad of shades and it can take some experimentation to determine what one is best for you. You can purchase the mini size on Sephora for this purpose. BEST FOUNDATION I HAVE EVER USED. Well-priced compared to the other high-end brands I have used, such as La Mer. Finish is beautiful, especially on my 60+ skin, and color stays true all day.

Former Kevyn Aucoin foundation enthusiast. This Armani tops it! Silky texture, easily blendable, great coverage. The 5.25 color was recommended, and that is the color I bought. Perfect match to my skin. It's comparable to many other high end foundations in price, but excellent value.

I absolutely love Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation. This foundation is forgiving on this aging skin of mine. I try very hard to find makeup that does not sink into this 65 year old’s face. I love how this makeup covers dark spots, and wrinkles. This seems to smooth the lines. The smell is really fragrance free to me. I love this foundation's overall appearance and coverage. I have to mention that you have to keep up your facial routines of proper cleansing, moisturizing and care for your skin. I would rate this foundation in the top tier of the best foundations. I am 70 years young! The finish of this foundation is youthful and luminous and healthy looking. There are so many tints, you do have to get the right color match for your skin tone. The Armani website can help with that.
