I got this so I can cut my trees down easier I throw a 2 lb weight and throw it into a tree and then I'm able to tie it off very easily and it's 100 ft so it becomes very accessible for my helpers to pull the tree over as I'm cutting thank you

I actually really liked this rope but was disappointed on the 5th time I used it in the month I’ve owned it, it started to fray and then snapped. I’ll figure out how to use it again as two independent pieces but loved having one long, continuous rope.

The blue rope in the picture is rated for just as much weight as the black rope which is the product. If you value what’s on either end of the line you’ll cut off the eyelets-which are sewn and heat shrinked on, and tie a figure 8 follow through with the very nice carabiners it comes with. Rope like this is all about braid/weave and everything-the internals and externals of this line, are loosely braided. This product is more comparable to boat/dock line than good climbing line. I’m reminded of the rope/twine section at Menards that’s jammed between the engine oil and the chain sections. ... show more

I use this for tree climbing. It has really withstood the different textures of the bark on a variety of trees. And still looks like new. The only thing that didn't was the heat shrink. Great product for a great price!
