However, they require three double a batteries each, and cannot be turned on with a remote or put on a timer. These lighted ribbons were perfect for me. They gave my Christmas tree the extra beauty I have been wanting for years but was never able to accomplish. Two ribbons perfectly wrapped around a 6’ tree so if your is larger you will need to space them further apart to make it fit. Each ribbon takes 3 AA batteries. I made sure to lie the battery boxes on top of each other inside the tree so I could easily turn them on and off together. Totally worth it to buy! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I Love them. Once my usb extension cord arrived they could be turned on. The remote had no battery but I have another remote for fairy lights that worked. My tree is to tall to go around the tree easily so next year I will elicit help to wrap the tree instead of up and down. I bought 3 but only used two on the tree. I will definately be getting some silver or white ones too. ... show more
