At just $20~ per panel, these velvet curtains aren't too bad! I ordered the 52"×84" panels in the Champagne color for the sliding patio door in our sunroom - you receive a set of two panels in the order which is nice as you don't have to purchase each separately as you do many others. These curtain panels aren't very thick, but they aren't thin either - the fabric is a medium weight and texture that does a good job of blocking sunlight during the daytime (see photos for an example). I love that you can choose to run a rod through the whole top of the panel, or you can use the tabs that are sewn in to the top (I used the tabs, since we use the patio door quite often - the tabs make it much easier to slide the curtain open/closed). The velvet embossed texture on the panels is nice and soft, and it's the same color as the overall panel color so it gives the look a very subtle aesthetic. The back of the panels are flat with no texture, and they're the same color as the front (see photos) - I prefer this look much more over curtain panels that have a white liner sewn into the back (these do not) as the panels with white liners don't look as nice from the outside when hung above a sliding glass door - but these look great! For the low cost of the two velvet panels that you receive, I would recommend this brand given the good quality! The panels are sewn very well and the thought that was put into the weight of the fabric along with the two different curtain rod options for hanging and the variety of colors offered make them a great choice! ... show more

These are so soft and pretty! I love that they have a velvety texture and the color was as expected (cream ivory). They slide easily and not damaged after washing on gently cycle. They are not blackout and can see shadows through them, but overall I'm happy with this order.

I ordered these curtains for my living room and I have to say, I am absolutely in love with them. The moment I took them out of the packaging, I had to make my family members feel them too because they are so soft and thick. I couldn't wait to put them up and replace my old curtains. These curtains are amazing at blocking out everything and creating a dark and cozy atmosphere. I'm not sure if they were advertised as blackout curtains but they definitely do the job. Velvet curtains are beautiful and so soft I’d like a bedspread from this same material ! These are a nice weight and I’m confident they will keep out the cold this winter. I’m also sure they will help keep out the heat in summer. The pattern on these curtains reminds me of a damask pattern. These curtains washed up beautifully! The backs look nice also. You also have two ways to hang these. They are not blackout but they do block a bit of light. I’m looking to help block the cold and heat. These velvet curtains have a few special things about them. One thing is the top of the curtains where you are given two options to hang. One being the typical tunnel you feed the rod through and the other looks like thick belt loops. I used an industrial style rod was happy with this choice.
