This board is packed with features, and even has wifi which is nice so I can test connections when needed. The board seems well-built. The m.2 quick latches should become standard on all boards, they are nice! Having that extra pcie slot on an M board is also a great nice-to-have. Sometimes there is a red light that just stays on sometimes, it's some bios reset option I assume, but it's a tad annoying, but also it's not on right now so heh. I'm not a big fan of rgb but this does it nicely. My biggest gripes are the software and updating the bios. The software at first seems really nice, it checked for new drivers, and allowed me to download them all at once, however, they packaged Norton with it (though you can uncheck that box it was still offputting and I didn't see it until it was almost too late) and updated by firmware but not to the latest firmware. When I tried doing a manual bios update myself I ran into some frustrating issues of the bios updater not being able to read the file, I had to click on the file instead of hit next even though it was the only file, otherwise it would keep saying file not found. But, after that issue was resolved by clicking, it then said invalid image file. I still haven't been able to update my bios, and my version doesn't fix the voltage issue with the 7800x3d, so that's a bit concerning. The documentation from Gigabyte was not any help at all. For the price, this board is unmatched. I even saw it have some solid recommendations from some techs on youtube after I bought it. Everything works great, though I wish it had better onboard audio, a way to change the color of that red led on the bios button, better documentation, and not throwing unneeded or bad (norton) software in the list of driver downloads. ... show more

A good overal performance but with an annoying high pitch coil whine. The motherboard performs well in high load conditions. I tried to troubleshoot it. The noise comes from some coils that are hidden under the heatsink near the ports side. There is not much you can do to get rid of it, covering doesn't help, changing voltages may work but not the best option. In my case stops when I take out the heatsink, but this is also not a good idea. ... show more

No issues with this board, besides the Amazon title listing an Intel 2.5gb Ethernet. It actually has a Realtek 2.5GBe. The ports are well laid out, I wish there was a case fan header near the top of the board, but his is a minor issue. The two M.2 slots with the heat spreader is very nice.

Made the switch to am5, and ddr5. Board is currently running a 6800xt, 7600x, and 32gb 5600mhz ddr5 memory. Ive had zero issues with it, since start up. Bios was easy to deal with, first start up went smooth and quickly. This is a cheaper board, so you lack things like bluetooth and wifi. For the price, you cant beat what your getting. Do note, that if your building with alot of fans like i did. You will need a fan hub, as this only has 3 fan headers. And, 1 ARGB header.. My only complaint. ... show more

This is for the B650M Aorus Elite AX.The "M" is important here . first off the sellers are great. OK This board works fine out of the box DDR5- 6000 and 7800x3D booted first try . But you CAN NOT update the Bios I tried 2 separate Boards and both had the wrong Bios right out of the box . it has the wrong bios from the factory . It has the bios of a B650 non "M" Aorus Elite AX and it will not let you update the bios i tried everything watched tons of videos and search the internet. iv updated many motherboards so it really bugged me .BUT If you do not care about updating the Bios then this board is fine .You should update the bios though on new platforms like AMD7000 to get all the performances you pay for. ... show more

Only issue I had was one heatsink, facing the top of the full tower case, too tall to mount a fan with a radiator. I was able to find a think fan to put in this place. Standard 120mm did not fit. Board is running great.

In the end it booted without flashing bios but still a bit of a hassle. I followed instructions for q-flash before plugging anything else in. Problem is there's no q-flash led to indicate when the update is running and complete like the manual says. So when you press button, you don't know if it worked. I install everything and hope for the best but no boot. Try clearing CMOS and it boots with old bios version F3? Thought I flashed with F6 but it didn't even update. Surprised but okay. ... show more
