Description
The best of both worlds: new and vintage! In 1958, the Les Paul went from a simple gold finish painted lid to a cherry finish on a two-piece carved maple top. Most of the tapas were fairly straightforward, while others, for which collectors now pay astronomically high prices, could be found with beautifully carved two-piece flamed maple tops. It was actually the carved lid that distinguished Les Paul from the "competition". This continued throughout the instrument's long and historic history. Now the Les Paul Supreme takes it to the extreme with an AAAA carved maple top and AAA bottom on a classic mahogany body. Details combine new and old flavors for a guitar that can play in any style, from country to metal, and anything in between.
