Beautiful stand, and easy to set up and take apart! The metal base pieces slide together and then the platters fit snugly in the metal frames. I absolutely love this bowl set. The bowls are very good quality and it's a great size for a large party because both bowls are a good size. I've used it several times for chips and dip, but someone mentioned you could use it for salad and the top bowl could be salad dressing......interesting that you can actually come up with many uses for it and it really does look stunning. This is a very nice piece. We use it for chocolate fondue foods. Very sturdy and worth the money. It didn’t wiggle or collapse. Each level can hold a nice amount of food ie large container of strawberries, or about 50 large marshmallows. Some reviews said it wasn’t sturdy but absolutely incorrect; maybe they put it together wrong. ... show more

This a very nice set to display goodies in party setting. My wife loves it and we are ready to host Brunch for Mother's day. Only issue found was the lowest pin was not a 90degs so the plate was tilted. I was able to carefully bend the weld joint to straighten the pin to make it square. Thanks
