I live in an apartment so I bought this to use in my unit and it works great. I put it in my bathtub and just use my shower head for filling the washer and rinsing as well. I washed my sons twin bed sheet. It came out smelling good and all clean. I used the dryer for the sheet and it work as well. I would recommend this for maintaining laundry. It works very well. The noise didnt bother me. It wasnt super loud. The spin cycle goes for 15 minutes and the dryer for 5. I find that it holds a decent amount. This little washer is excellent! We carry it with us in our motorhome. It’s lightweight and compact, but it cleans so well. I was actually using this washer when I realized that our clothes were full of soap from our washer at home. This is our second year using the washer and it still works like new. It does a great job cleaning our clothes, the spin cycle gets the clothes pretty dry, and it’s easy to travel with. If I lived in an apartment or somewhere without a washer, I wouldn’t hesitate to use this on a regular basis. I’ve been nothing but impressed. ... show more

    • Broke after a few uses. . .

I was so excited about having this to wash cloth diapers in our old apartment. We only washed a couple at a time, and I even looked up advice and warnings on how to use/not use the washer and dryer and everything, too (since the instructions were super difficult to interpret). But the motor stopped working altogether after about 8 uses, or at least that's what seemed to be the issue. What's worse is that the return policy would have required us to send it back, and we had no way of doing so before moving across the country a few days after we bought it. So this was literally just $100+ completely wasted, unfortunately... Maybe we got a dud, and I want to give it the benefit of the doubt and possibly try it again at some point. But... I was really upset that it didn't work for us through this brand/seller. The day we moved, we ended up tossin' it in the dumpster, and I hate that we had to do that with something that could have really been extremely useful for us to have... Also, even when it did work, it still had a few major design flaws, I hate to say... The tube that empties the water has to be level or lower than the washer, and it has to be someplace where water can be drained - but also has to be plugged in, so it has to be near an outlet with water. But the tube is so short without getting an extension (not even sure what size would be needed or what would be compatible tube-wise) that this means you probably have to drag the washer back and forth between where you need it plugged in and where you need to dump the water out. Because, you know, water + electricity = a bad time (imho). And when it's full of water, pushing and dragging on it sucks (especially after you've just given birth). And then when you do get it dumped out, there's always still a little bit more water left in the bottom of the washer side. I would also have to bend down with a bucket and literally drain from the hose, fill the bucket, dump it in the sink, accidentally drip water all over the place that my postpartum self would have to clean up, and then repeat until all of it was out. This honestly sucked. I don't usually like being so negative, but... Yeah, I have to give this one star... I love the concept, but dang... ... show more

it's good for convenience since I've been without a washer for a year and have had to wash my clothes by hand, but the only complaints so far are the spin side is pretty small and it kinda shakes when it first turns on. other than that, it's great for when you can't afford a full machine or don't have the space for one. also I had to put it in my shower because the hose wouldn't fit my faucet 😂 just use the shower head and add the water that way ... show more

Ok, I'm just saying this is a nice washing machine. I live in a small apartment and this works perfectly for me. the washer is strong, the spin cycle is amazing and it almost dries perfectly. this is perfect for a dorm. The videos I've seen are right on point. Only thing I did was put it in the shower because the cords was to short to reach the faucet. I've washed everything in this and two comforters so far; except jeans. in my opinion if your gonna do jeans you might can get four pair in the washer and two in the spin cycle. I wasn’t expecting much for the price, but this washer really impressed me... I used it the day after I received it, It’s lightweight, compact, and perfect for small spaces. The material feels sturdy and of good quality, definitely built to last. The spin cycle is powerful and leaves clothes nearly dry, which cuts down drying time. It runs quietly, and I haven’t had any issues with leakage, everything stays clean and dry around it. Overall, it’s efficient, easy to use, and feels like a solid investment. Powerful machine that does an excellent job cleaning your laundry. Saves money buy not going to the laundromat The downside: 1) Manufacturer does not recommend putting it in your bathtub because when the water drains, it could get the motor wet (motor sits at the bottom of the machine). I bought a fridge stand to put under the machine in the bathtub so that the bottom motor is not in contact with the draining water. 2) Very short electrical cord. I had to buy an extension cord. 3) Remember this is a semi-automatic machine. You have to do some of the work yourself such as putting your clothes through multiple rinses. 4) It can be loud when it spins the clothes in the drying compartment. 5) Machine is not big enough to wash a comforter. ... show more
