Great mat! The thicker foam is easier to fall and roll on. After 2 hours of throws & take-downs, I’m not even sore later. Though I wish I could have a larger area (10’ x 10’), This size is easier to transport and store. Folds down to an easy size. Has Velcro on all sides, and comes with convenient handles. 2 of these fit (lying flat) in my Prius (with the wider back seat folded down). I use them for self defense mat work. This mat attaches to my other mat of the same size to make an 8’ x 8’ square. When the mat is folded down, and stacked on top of a matching mat, it’s a great height to practice jumps. It is low impact too, easier on the knees. (It’s supposed to be 16” high with two of them stacked, but it seems a little higher because of the air spaces.) But if you do jump on 2 stacked mats, have someone there to keep mats from slipping/sliding...just in case. It hasn’t happened to me, but it’s better to be safe. I’m making 2 Velcro ‘belts’ to hold the mats together, since I don’t always have spotter nearby. Price is great too, these mats get very expensive. This was the best price I found on a 2” thick mat with 4-sided Velcro.

Bought this as a sturdier replacement for a yoga mat for my 6'3" husband, and it performs admirably for that task. It's been getting extra use during lockdown as a weightlifting mat. The fabric is thin enough that I wouldn't call it heavy duty and throw heavy weights around on it, but it's held up to extra use so far.

I just bought this as a gift for my daughters birthday, so it’s been unboxed but not used. I can see imperfections along the sea lines of the met which makes me believe it will not last very long. I decided to go with this mat over a more expensive option ( like $50 more) but more I’m thinking I should have spent the extra cash for peace of mind. I won’t be returning since I need this for next week, but I will also iodate in a few months after it’s been used, with photos!

The 5 star review is given in light of the cheap price. They are nice thick mats that my kid that is very into gymnastics has made good use of for the last two months. They are holding up well to daily use. If I had paid more of an average price I would have given these a 4 star as the middle seam/fold has a thicker piece of vinyl that feels a bit hard underfoot and is less comfortable than it should be. The vinyl also doesn't fit the underlying mats perfectly and there is a little excess material and so you have a little looseness in how it covers the mat. However, for home use within a budget these are perfectly adequate.

Great price for a young tumbler to practice on. My 9 year old daughter is in tumbling but needed to practice back handsprings and tucks at home. This one is perfect because it folds up nicely and stores under her (tallish) bed frame. It provides just enough cushion for her to practice things she already knows. Great price too!

We got this mat for our 6month old for Christmas because our house is all tile she it’s perfect for her to roll around on and practice sitting! The foam is a little hard due to it being a tumbling mat but it’s thicker then any “ baby play mats” on here I’m so thankful we got this

I bought the 4’x8’x2”. I’m 5’9” and 51 yo. This mat, although doesn’t feel soft, makes doing floor exercises much easier due to decreasing pain in back, hip, knees and elbows. The size is perfect for someone my height, actually it’s a little big but I don’t worry about shifting off like with yoga mats. Definitely measure your floor space before ordering. It takes up a lot of room. Kinda feels cheap though but holding up so far.

We got this mat for our daughter for her 8th birthday, and she loves it! It is small enough that she can move it around by herself when folded, but big enough that she can do cartwheels and round offs and all her tricks easily. This is also very good quality- She has used it outside in the yard and inside in the living room, and it hasn’t been damaged at all- not even by our feisty cat! If you have a young gymnast who wants to practice, this is the perfect, affordable option!
