I did drop iit once and was submerged in 2” of water for about 10 seconds. My phone still worked. Just make sure before you head out that the tab for the charging port is securely closed. I bought this as a gift. Order was late as everything else has been from Amazon lately. But it has been a hit. The person I bought it for is really hard on phones. They usually break the screen in a month. This case has excellent touch screen. The volume is reduced but livable. Has been splashed on dropped thus far and still 100%. At first the screen wasn't real sensitive to my touch but once I made sure there was a good contact with the front without any air pockets it has worked fine. Very pleased with this case.

Like that the cover is designed for wireless charging. Needed a sturdy waterproof cover for here in Alaska. I use to be a life proof cover person but the quality on those diminished. Ghostec is my new go to for phone covers. You want be disappointed.

Prompt shipping. The case claims and appears to be waterproof which Is why I purchased it for an upcoming kayaking trip. So I figured in the mean time I'd use it temporarily, plus it seemed more durable than my store-bought case. After using for the majority of the day, my phone fell out of my pocket (getting out of the car, so maybe 3ft) and the plastic covering popped open and now have an open gash. Luckily the phone survived, so I'm not too upset. But for 50 dollars and a supposedly 'durable case' I expected it to last more than one drop. ... show more

I just received the phone case and at first glance it appears to be well designed and built. I do not like the fact that you have to scan a QR code and complete a list of steps including write this review to read the instructions for the case.

Worked great to protect my new iPhone while using it for navigation on an off-road motorcycle ride with lots of dirt, mud and water. Kept everything out but still allowed charging and touch screen. The phone was immaculate when removed.
