There is not much to dislike. The buttons are a little stiff but work fine . I assume they will get even better with age, and it's hard to remove. But small annoyances compared to great craftsmanship of this case. Looks really good feels solid . The metal frame makes it a pleasure to hold and has just the amount of weight to it that makes it feel like you have good product in your hand . The packinging was even top notch . You can see they are definitely competing to be the best case on the market. I have own a lot of phones and cases and they usually are like yeah it's a case. This is the first that actually feels like it improves the phone . Completely satisfied with this for the price. I love that you can see the phone and yet be fully protected. I like the aluminum frame. It has withstood my droppage so far and the rear design is very nice. It does not add a lot of bulk to the phone. The sides also provide good grip and slides easily in and out of my pocket. The side buttons operate decent but I have to squeeze them firmly to get them to operate. I kind of like this as I'm not accidentally locking the phone or hitting the volume rocker. All around solid case in conjunction with a tempered glass screen protector which I ordered separately. I feel my investment is much safer for the long term. Would highly recommend to anyone who doesn't mind squeezing a little extra hard for the hardware buttons to function. ... show more

Im not sure if i got a defective unit, but if they are all like this, its a Joke. the case feels great and looks great. but the buttons are so hard my fingers hurt pushing them to get a response. also its possible i got a used case because the protective film on the clear plastic was taken off with some left clinging to the camera well. I am assuming that the last person saw the same defect and returned it and they just put it back in circulation. this unit is going back, I dont appreciate getting used stuff and clearly defective stuff. your not a ghost your dead to me. ... show more

The fit and function of this case it great! I got this after my OtterBox gave way. The ghostek case has a nice aluminum outer shell ,with a decently finish, and a nice rubber shock absorber. The only complaint that I have are the buttons are super firm and I have to useu fingernails to use the vole buttons on occasion. However they have softened up over some time and became easier to use. ... show more

First glance a solid, snug fit for the phone. Nice grip on the sides, and harder plastic shell for protection. A wide port slot for any charger brand. I know some of the off brand chargers are wider or have thicker plastic so they some times don't fit with cases on but this shouldn't have any problem with any. I got the clear plastic to show off the phones color and it pops well along with the cases discreet branding. Not obnoxiously loud like some brands do. I appreciate that. ... show more

I was so excited to order this case. I've been looking for awhile for one that has a clear back, isn't TOO thick, but still offers some real protection. Pros: 1. I have a red sopiguard vinyl skin on my Pixel 4 XL, and I think it looks awesome with the red Ghostek case. 2. The aluminum feels premium and looks good 3. It definitely feels like it can take a beating, but it's not too thick. Cons: 1. The main reason I had to give it 2 stars is how difficult it is to push the buttons. I reinstalled the case on my phone multiple times to get it lined up, but the buttons are mushy and difficult to push. I kinda fixed it by cutting a small rectangle piece of the card stock that comes in the box and putting them between the phone and the buttons. They're still hard to press, but now I don't need to dig in using the edge of my fingernail. 2. I'm sure this is a QA thing, but my case came slightly bent. When I first put it on a table, there was small but noticeable wobble. I tried to straighten it out as best I could before putting my phone on. 3. I'm not sure if it's because the case may be bent, but on the back, you can see an area where the clear plastic is pushing up against the pack of the phone and making contact. My Spigen clear case doesn't do the same, and it looks a lot nicer when it's not pushed up against the back of the case. 4. Because the case is aluminum and the buttons are hard to press, I almost dropped my phone twice in 24 hours as I put pressure on the buttons and then the aluminum slips out of my hands. I was really hoping this was the case that would be the one I keep on my Pixel 4 XL long term, but I'm not 100% sure it will be. Will test it a few more days and decide. ... show more

Looks good and feels great. Buttons are stiff. But they get broken in quickly. They are fine on my fourth day. Which honestly is good because that's means it is built sturdy.

I want to love this case but I can't. When it come to fitment and durability, best I've seen in a long time. However the slickness of the metal and rubber makes it almost impossible to keep a hold of. Put it on the dash and it will slide off, same with console. Will slide out of your back pocket when you sit down. Also the buttons are I insanely hard to press. ... show more
