Installation is a little tough owing to the tight manufacturing tolerances. This is a good thing translating into a very secure fit. Not a case to be casually swapped around if that's your thing. I received my case yesterday, #146 of 1000, and was pleasantly surprised. I wasn't quite sure what to expect from the iridescent color but it is amazing. My daughter is trying g to claim my phone because of it. Anyways, the case is made from metal and very sturdy. I put the case on before realizing I needed to pull the plastic off of the clear parts. I had a hard time getting it back off the phone due to the very snug fit which I like. I am not worried one bit about my phone sliding out. The case doesn't add much weight to the phone which is nice. I have had cases before that were too bulky. Overall this is a great buy for people wanting a solid case that is not something everyone has. ... show more

After going through a number of plastic two-piece cases and breaking them all at the thinnest point near the volume rocker switch it was time for a change. I saw the Ghostek case for my Samsung S21 and noted the outer portion of the unit was metal. Now that's a change. The inner case is a soft material that fits snugly to the phone and the metal outer portion fits snugly over the soft. It's been going on nine months and it looks like it just came out of the shipping pouch and no outer case failure. This thing is like a vault for your phone. It's till thin and sleak, easy to fit in my back pocket and it has protected the phone from numerous drops. If you're a phone in the back pocket person or just tough on your phone this is the case for you. ... show more

Update: Received the correct size. Fits well, protects all the edges well. All and all good. HOWEVER, I won't be adjusting to above 3 stars and here's why: 1. They include a protective film on the inside and rear of the clear portions of the case. Neither film has a tab to pull them off. The inside one is easy enough to get a fingernail under, but the rear one is recessed. I haven't a clue how they got that on there so perfectly. Its like a perfectly placed screen protector, only its hazy and not supposed to be there. I used a wooden toothpick to gently push the edge forward enough that I could get it with my fingernail. 2. The first Ultra case I received looked perfect until I removed the protective film. However, on the rear of the clear portion of the case, to the right of the "A" in "Atomic", there is an imperfection. Its not the end of the world, but it is noticeable. Its like having a piece of dust stuck under a screen protector, roughly the same size and noticeability. Not world ending, but annoying. Only its not stuck anything, its a defect in the material. Oh well, I ordered another one. New one has the exact same defect in the exact same spot, so it appears to be from the manufacturing process. I can live with it, but for $40.00, this isn't something I should have to deal with. If this was a $12-15 case, I'd give it 5 stars for what it is. The construction of this case is far above and beyond cheaper cases, but that quality is marred by that defect. I'd still recommend the case, but if this sort of tiny defect drives you up the wall, then consider one of the versions that doesn't have a clear back to it. Original: Make sure you look closely at the store page before buying. Shared fault here, but I bought the S21 version when I have an S21 ultra. This occurred because all of the images you cycle through for the S21 version, are images of an S21 Ultra. At some point when I was cycling through the different versions, it switched to an S21 on its own (that color/style likely only came in that size). Product itself looks well made with some interesting details, but wrong size so I can't say more than that. ... show more

Was skeptical about this, as I had order 4 different cases trying to find one comparable to the case I had on my S20 for years... I was happily satisfied with this one over any of the others!
