  • Every bit as good as anything else; and then some!
This is probably my second or third Ghost Fire board and with each product I purchase, the more impressed I am! Earlier this year I purchased their flat board design that's closely modeled after the M*no pedalboards. It is a fantastic board, however I personally think every board in that series, flat or angled, is way too tall. I felt the same way about the "four rail" style/size at a whopping 4.5" incline—way too tall and steep for me when using things like volume and wah pedals. I decided I wanted to purchase a larger board in case I added more pedals or wanted more space between pedals so I settled on the Standard 1.5. I am so incredibly impressed with the build quality of these boards and their cases! The board itself feels robust and is extremely lightweight. The powder coat is even and relatively flaw-free, albeit a little cheap feeling as it definitely has a rougher texture to it. Dimension-wise, I would say its about as shallow or flat as the original P*daltrain line of boards (i.e. the PTJR/1/2/etc.). It might not fit as many power supplies under it as a taller/more angled board would. Still, it is every bit as good as the many four-rail boards I've owned at just about half price. I go through boards a lot because my rig changes constantly, and I've owned tons of boards from a lot of the big brands. I can't overstate this enough; these Ghost Fire boards are truly the best value for money I have ever found in a pedalboard! The thing I'm most blown away by are the included gig bags. Frankly, I'm not sure how Ghost Fire is able to get away with creating a Mono bag that is every bit as good as a M*no bag—let alone throwing it in with the board! I think it really shows that you pay out the nose for brand names. (Note: I think that this particular model—the Standard 1.5—with the "M*no-type" bag is either discontinued or in low stock/availability, so I'm really glad I was able to get one!) The included gig bag is very well manufactured; the zippers feel solid, the padding is firm and protective, and the material it's made of does not feel cheap or flimsy like other included gig bags from big names. These Ghost Fire pedalboard gig bags are of considerable quality and I definitely feel comfortable gigging and even touring with the included gig bag. Ghost Fire seems to understand that not every musician looking for logistical and reliable gigging materials like this can afford the slick, name-brand stuff that the folks with sponsorships/endorsements, or people who make guitar content or gig at a truly professional, "I'm making a ton of money off of this" level can afford. I think most people need quality products that will stand up to gigging and touring, and Ghost Fire continues to offer these in attractive, contemporary, and competitive design/construction. ... show more

  • Awesome pedalboard! Awesome pedalboard!
Great pedalboard! Fits alot of pedals. I like it alot. I wish there was a way to mount the power supply underneath, but for the price, this is just as good as another higher priced brand. Great spacing and open concept helps with compatible pedals. I love that it comes with zip ties and brackets for zip ties for cable management. ... show more

  • Jut perfect. Small, light and strong. Jut perfect. Small, light and strong.
Size: 13.7''x5.5''
My old pedalboard has some huge pedals, and it takes a lot of space. After the original case was destroyed by an airline, I ordered a heavy duty flight hard case. The whole thing is great, but too large, heavy and hard to get around. Simply not practical. So, I decided to have a second, minimalist, pedalboard. I bought the Ghost Fire Baby, added a CIOKS DC5 LINK Power Supply and filled it with some incredibly good mini pedals. Using EBS Flat patch cables, I was able to add 6 pedals and there's space for one more. I already ordered a TC Electronic Hall of Fame mini. They all fit nicely and the pedalboard is perfect for that I need. ... and everything fits perfectly in the bag that comes with it. You can put it inside your luggage when flying. No more hassle carrying my pedals. Well, as for my old pedalboard, I may sell everything, as this thing is just incredibly nice and small and It has everything I need from a pedalboard. I couldn't be happier with this product. ... show more

  • Great value for the money! Great value for the money!
Size: 20"x7.08"
Love this small pedalboard. Looks and feels premium but for a great and inexpensive price. Love my acoustic guitar pedalboard set up! Everything fit perfectly on it and the velcro strips were super easy to use and set up. Highly recommend this product. You save so much money compared to boards like the pedaltrain series ... show more

  • Good Board, Minor Aesthetic Build Issue and Power Supply Mounting Good Board, Minor Aesthetic Build Issue and Power Supply Mounting
Size: 27.5''x12.5''
Review for Ghostfire V-Standard 3.0. Pretty good board, light and constructed very similar to PT Jr. Max board sharing similar dimensions--almost--GF is 1/2" (1.27cm) shorter length. Did notice the welding joints on the GF are not as "clean" as the PT (I own a PT Jr. for comparison purposes). Does not impact structural integrity, just aesthetics when examining really close (nit picky, I know). Also one of the slats where meets the right support bar is slightly raised, so if resting a pedal on the seam it can wobble a bit. But after putting hook and loop to fasten to the board, became a non-issue, so very minor. So, knocking off 1 star for these reasons. Powder coating seems comparable to PT for scratch resistance. With regard to power supply mounting, the included mounting brackets may be 'hit and miss' (a miss for me). The instructions do indicate this works for Voodoo Lab Pedal Power supplies, which I have no reason to doubt. But I am using a Truetone Onespot CS-12 Pro. The GF brackets do not fit this power supply. You must use the brackets which came with the CS-12 Pro. I saw another poster state this CS-12 Pro will not fit this board due to the square tubes on the bottom cover the pedal power inputs. But, if using the native CS-12 Pro brackets, the power supply is resting ABOVE the tubes and thus the inputs are accessible (see pictures). Since constructed similar to PT boards, the PT boards would have the identical scenario, so not exclusive to GF board. This reduces a bit of clearance from the floor, but works very well without issue. To test worst case 'clearance scenario', I put this board on plush carpeting with the power supply mounted and still had about 1/2" (1.27cm) of space between the power supply lowest point and the carpet floor. Would have even more clearance on a hard surface (like a stage). Bottom line, the CS-12 Pro fits perfectly if using its original hardware for fastening to the GF board. So, with its minor build flaws this is a good board at a very fair price. This one is a keeper. ... show more

  • Good value. Just what I hoped it would be.
Exactly what I needed. Sturdy, powder-coated, lightweight metal. Will easily fit 5 pedals with power supply (purchased separately). Comes with all you need to attach pedals and manage cables. The included bag is also good quality and sufficiently generous that it will fit the board with pedals attached. Planned use is mainly on carpet but the feet are hard plastic and it might 'run away' from you if used on a hard floor or stage. ... show more

  • Nice pedal board Nice pedal board
Size: 27.5''x5.5''
This is a nice pedal board. Just the style I was looking for. It is very wide and narrow. I am able to fit 8 pedals onto a single BabyMax pedalboard. I bought two BabyMax pedalboards to fit all my pedals. I arrange my pedals in a linear manner so I do not need to do a one-leg, Cirque du Soleil balancing act while pressing pedals on a secondary level on a big pedalboard. If you can do that, great. This pedalboard is great. The only thing that would make it better is if it were in the shape of an arc so that I could have one arc on my left and one arc on my right. Anyway, I included photos so you can see a bunch of pedals of various brands and pedal sizes. I have mini-pedals and a huge Diezel pedal. I kept my Morley wah pedal on the floor instead of sticking it on the pedal board. The pedalboard feet raise the pedalboard enough to put a power block underneath. I have a MXR DC brick for one and a GhostFire GP-8 SV-2 for the other. One of the pedalboard came with six feet and the other one only came with four feet, like someone forgot to put the middle two feet on. Not a major problem. ... show more

  • Yes, it's the same as PedalTrain at half the cost...
Size: 27.5''x12.5''
You all know how expensive those PedalTrain boards are. That's why you're here. You know a piece of aluminum shouldn't cost you 200 bucks. You know your board is gonna get beat up with use. You know these things. You're just wondering if this is anywhere near the quality of PedalTrain... you want to know if it's a suitable replacement. It stacks up nicely. I played with anohter guitar player who swears by PedalTrain. They're nice clean aluminum setups. Ghost Fire is the same thing at a better value. You'll be wondering why you need to buy a more expensive piece of aluminum for your pedalboard needs. You don't. Fits my Voodoo Lab Pedal Power 3 power supply with 10 inputs. Clean looking board. Travel case is a plus. The case itself has already survived some moments where I thought it would rip. Still going strong. ... show more
