Love anything cast iron! Easy to clean, great for crisp crust. Leave pan in oven during preheat and transfer pizza with parchment paper, perfection.

Since it's not round, lids won't close completely. If you won't use it with lids, it's a great pan, especially for the price. It weighs 10.5 lbs which is about 2 to 3 lbs more than the pans same size. So you are getting a thicker, heavier pan which is what you want with cast iron kitchenware.

I bought this to cover a few uses in my kitchen and it is fabulous. Great as a comal for cooking large flour tortillas (burrito sized) My 10" comal may be retiring since I got this one. Takes a while to heat up evenly, but once it does it is awesome. I also bought this to use as a cover for my 12" Lodge cast iron skillet, works perfectly for that as well when I am frying chicken. Finally, as a pizza pan it is EXCELLENT.... Finally able to obtain a super crisp crust that we couldn't achieve with our baking stone. We preheat it in the oven to 525 and slide the pizza off the peel onto the pan... Wish I had bought this sooner
