Very nice well built support. way better then the last two I got. It is more stable and locks tighter so it will stay standing even in a storm. Not sure it be good to use while traveling though. Might cause damage to the boat or the cover.

This is our second set of boat cover supports. The price point is a bit high when compared to similar products however these are better quality. The tripod base helps with stability. They are fairly sturdy and the height is easily adjusted. The poles themselves are 5 stars…but 4 stars overall because of the difficulty in adjusting the straps. The included straps are basic and not easy to adjust. It would be better if these straps had a cinching buckle/strap or quick release buckle to allow tightening the straps faster. Set up is a similar pain in the butt…the same for all of these boat cover supports. This set isn't any easier or harder. The company includes nice storage cases.

Comes with a nice carry bag, as well! Pole telescopes out to just under 54 inches with cap on. 18.5" inches collapsed. Has 4 screw adjustments to put the pole at whatever height you need it to be. Nice thumb screws make it very easy to tight and loosen. Solid metal construction on the poles and the base. Weighs in at 2 lbs. Btw, one nice feature this can also be used for is that the mount screw is the same that would be used for a tripod when not using it for boat covers you can use it as a camera / projector tripod. Smart design! Comes with 3 straps w/hooks to allow you to span out coverage. Each strap is just a bit longer than 15 ft in length and adjustable. With a very nice/strong hook. Going to try this on my large pontoon boat to see how many poles I can drop out of my mix as with the height I can bring this to, along with the 3 straps, should be able to remove at least two of my poles. And I don't have to worry about this one rusting and giving up like the factory poles did. And toss in the multi-use of this. Nicely done and great for the price!

This adjustable support pole is really easy to set up, very stable base, and will work very well to keep rain from pooling on my boat cover. The current poles I’ve been using don’t have as wide a top, and are a single pole, without the support base that this has and they fall over easily. This item is easier to put in place, is very stable and holds in place very well so I don’t have to worry about it falling over as I cover it with my boat cover. It also comes with adjustable straps to further support the pole which I will not need because the pool is so stable. The picture I included is only a few feet tall because I didn’t extend it, but a nice feature is three separate extension points for a custom fit for your boat. Very happy with this quality product.

Finally I got something to keep the water from pooling on the cover of my boat. Over time the rain will pool up, sagging more and pulling the boat cover off the edges of the boat. I always wanted to make something to keep it from pooling. Now I have the solution. For the price of a tripod alone you get the tripod, top cap and adjustable straps. One goes to the front of the boat and two go to the back corners. This keeps the rain from pooling and it runs right off the boat. This is very quick and easy to set up so now I have no excuse to not cover the boat every time I get home from a trip. I love it!!!

This review is for GFORU Boat Cover Support Poles 2pk Height Adjustable Boat Traps Support Pole System with Webbing Strap Boat Covers Stand Prevent Water accumulate for Bass Boat Jet Kayak Jon Boat Tarps Pontoon Boat When I got the box, I was surprised that both poles and all of the straps were compact inside the box. It was packaged well enough, and nothing was damaged. The poles were easy to assemble, and extended to a good height , allowing me to support the cover from any part of the boat. As another reviewer stated, these are not aluminum, so there is a possibility of rust, since the poles may at times be exposed to moisture. Overall, though, I am pleased with these poles, and it should keep my boat cover from sagging from water/snow and ripping like the last cover I had.

My first impression of these support poles is that they're well designed and very sturdy. Each pole weighs 2lb-2oz, and is adjustable from just under 18" to just over 50" with the legs extended. The listing mentions "protective plastic feet" but my supports came equipped with rubber feet that are press fit into the foot tubes. Assembly and usage is pretty straightforward. I did find that I really needed to torque on the thumb nuts in order to get the pole to sustain any weight when extended. As a bonus, the threaded rod at the top of the support that screws into the domed cap is 1/4" 20 UNC (ISO 1222), a standard tripod thread that should be able to interface with most cameras and related accessories.
