So I was going to return this just from a review I read on it, not being real leather and not handling rain well. When it arrived I was curious and opened it. I have the nightster special so it already came with the back seat. On the new pillion seat the back hole drilled is not big enough to slide over the existing built it nut, so I drilled it wider, same for the front. Put everything back together and it looks great. It felt like wearing a seat belt when I hit the throttle, held me in place within any arm strength. I’m not sure about how long the quality of the p leather will last and my bike is garage kept so I don’t really have to worry about water. I did read comments about it soaking in water. Very comfortable seats. I would recommend.

I was skeptical at first as I was afraid to "Amazon special" my bike, but this ended up being a VERY worthy investment. The factory seat is quite uncomfortable and this really makes up for it! It also takes the leather treatments I give it quite well! Was super easy to install, just use the factory hardware from the bike (it's literally 3 screws total). If you have the regular Nightster, you'll need to buy that rear most screw for the back seat. Couple very small critiques. The seat tether that holds the seat up while it's open is way too short. I opted to just cut it off and call it good. Also, the attachment points for the shock adjusting wrench are not measured accurately and every time you open the seat, it will fall out. I just left it out and wasn't worried about it.

Excellent product and fits perfectly for half the price from HD. Update: this seat is a bike changer, you can crack the throttle and slip back off the seat anymore. It absolutely holds you on place and does exactly what it's supposed to do. It's also very comfortable!!

I was stoked to get this. The stock seat on my 2024 Nightster has been okay, but I was looking for some back support to keep me better planted when accelerating. Well, this does do that, but with a lot of compromise. First off, the general quality is okay in some areas. It looks decent, though the gloss/finish of the leather makes it look fake. Especially next to any genuine leather with a matte finish. The quality in other areas, though, is bad. The hinge on this one is plastic…a big downgrade from the stock metal hinge. Probably okay, except the plastic cord to keep the seat from opening too far on mine was made incorrectly and can’t be installed. So pair that with a plastic hinge, and disaster is coming. Once installed and closed, the front seat has significant gaps. And, oddly sits a little higher than the passenger pillion. The front seat is decently comfortable, but the significant “back/ledge” forces me to sit further forward than I’d prefer and gives me less room to be comfortable where it counts significantly. As for passenger pillion, I wouldn’t trust anyone on it. It wobbles easily, and the leather passenger strap is barely secured. Not to mention that it’s very small, leaving little room for a passenger anyhow. Just check my photos for comparison on the screws used and the size vs the stock pillion. On the note of hardware, none is included. You need to use what you already have or order it separately. Even in value for the money, I’m not sure this wins. You can get better seats for a little more that will definitely be safer and last longer.
