This outdoor rug is not durable. I used it near my swimming pool on a pebble deck. It has had very little traffic so far, but is already falling apart. The binding on the edges is a cotton thread which simply disintegrated within two months of purchase. It remains to be seen how long the rest of the rug will hold up. My return window through Amazon closed June 18, but I will contact Gertmenian directly to let them know.

This rug is more for inside than outside. When it gets wet, it’s sopping wet. Colors are good, very nice looking rug. But if I would have known, I would not have put directly on the cement patio where the rain or sprinklers got it wet and doesn’t dry well. This is made more for indoors, screened in porch or maybe a deck where it can drain well.

I purchased this rug last May but due to Covid I didn’t actually open it up and put it out on the back deck of our vacation place until July 12th. The colors were bold and the rug added a real splash of color to our family’s “outdoor room”. However as you can see from the photo, the red and orange faded horribly and this photo was taken after only 90 days of being outdoors in the sun! $200 for less than 90 days of good use as an outdoor rug? I don’t think so! Poor quality, overpriced, don’t buy.

When we received this rug, we loved it. The colors were great and it cleaned easily- we could hose off muddy paw prints from our dog. We have this on a deck that gets sunlight throughout the day. Three months in to purchasing, I will say the blues have held their color but the red has turned to a drab brown and the yellow/orange to a dull light brown. It is now hideous. I never would have purchased had I known the colors would not last a single season. Might be nice on a covered patio, but if you plan to use this in a non-covered spend more money and find a fade-resistant rug!

I’m amazed at the quality for the price and absolutely perfect on my deck. I honestly would put this in my living room! I am glad it’s outside though, because it does have a petroleum smell. I’m sure it’ll dissipate quickly enough, but it would be overwhelming inside. The colors are pale cream, steel gray and silvery gray. The colors are very much as shown in the images they provided.

We love this rug. But we put it down in Winter in a location that is not waterproof yet, so of course it got wet. We live in the Pac. NW. It is on brick and we want to have warmer feet. We just need to figure out a way to dry it out and once that happens, I am confident we will give it 5 stars. We have only had it for a couple of months so can't tell about durability yet but it is many stars above what was available in our local dept and hardware stores. Those were ugly and much thinner.

The colors are not as vibrant as shown but is still attactive. Very thin and waiting to see how well it will hold up outdoors in the sun. The material is more for indoor. I've been cleaning it with a vacuum cleaner, not sure how well it will do with water.
