This Unisex Baby 2 Pack, Two-Way Zipper Textured Sleep and Play Onesies by Gerber are going to be perfect for my expecting daughter-in-law. I love that they are unisex, since we don't know yet what the baby will be, but these will work either way. These two onesies are made of 100% cotton. Both feel soft, and the ribbed fabric is a really nice weight for keeping a baby from getting chilled. They have two way zippers that work very smoothly, which is a great feature for changing baby without having to remove the entire garment. On the inside of the zipper is a wide fabric placket to keep any metal from touching the baby's skin, plus there is a snap tab at the top to protect baby's face from the zipper pulls. The holiday designs on these pieces are super cute, one featuring gingerbread man and the other has candy canes. Both look very cheerful, especially the smiling gingerbread man, and I cannot wait to take pictures of our newest grandchild in them. The quality of construction is also excellent, both appear to be flawlessly sewn, with no crooked seams or errant threads anywhere to be found. Currently these unisex baby sleep and play outfits are selling for $18.99 for the set. I think that is a very good value being offered, especially since they are all cotton and made by a very reputable brand. ... show more

Like any first-time parent, I'm really trying to dial it in as far as finding the right number of layers for my infant to be comfortable but not overheated. I like these pajamas because they're a light, breathable fabric. They seem to stop a chill, without being too warming so my baby, who runs warm, is able to comfortably wear this under a sleep sack. The material is a really nice texture, it ran true to size as far as label months matching birth months, and it did just fine in the wash.
