The classic wedge silhouette with upgraded comfort and performance. That's what you get with the Georgia Boot Wedge Waterproof Chelsea Work Boot. Some things never change. We still craft our wedges with the tried and true SPR leather. It's three times stronger and two and half times more abrasion resistant than traditional leathers. Nylon pull tabs and twin gore panels allow for an easy slip on of this Chelsea style wedge boot and ensure a great fit. The padded counter pocket provides additional support in the heel area while the removable AMP LT memory foam insole will wrap your feet in all day comfort. The interior is equipped with the Georgia Waterproof System, guaranteed to keep your feet dry when working in wet conditions. The foundation of this Chelsea boot contains a cushioning EVA midsole and fiberglass shank for additional support and stability. The outsole is engineered from our proprietary Carbo-Tec rubber. The special rubber blend has great heat, chemical, abrasion and slip-resisting properties. The combination of the SPR leather and incredibly durable outsole makes the AMP LT Wedges a perfect boot for working in barnyard type of environments.

Love these boots, they’re a comfortable and a durable set of boots, and they look great! I don’t plan on using these as work boots, they’re comfortable enough to walk around town, shopping or whatever suits your fancy. One important detail about the fit, these boots run a half size large, I generally wear 9 1/2 to 10 regular, these are 9 regular and they fit perfectly, keep that in mind before ordering. I ordered a 9 1/2 before I replaced those with these, and my heel felt like they were going to slip up and out of the boot! Once again they’re comfortable, not stiff, there’s plenty of cushion for your comfort, you can wear them for work, or they’re attractive enough to wear them out and about. ... show more

Initial impression is great. Got a 1/2 size larger which was a good choice fit wise. Quality look and feel. A bit tight/stiff when first tried them on but loosens up within a day or two and gets more comfortable with each day. No rub spots around ankle which was my hope. They do scuff but paste preservative brings them right back. How long they will last unknown. But happy overall. ... show more

The Georgia Boot Co. has been a well respected name for work boots as long as I remember. I was looking for a work boot that would wear comfortably, and if possible, didn't involve having to lace up every time I put them on (Older, and getting lazy-er as time goes by... lol). While shopping the boot, I came across these boots, which to me fit the bill, so I ordered them, and I'm glad I did. The boots, a little stiff at first (duh, they're new) had a nice fit to them, and right out of the box were noticeably comfortable, felt good to walk in. I wanted a pair of slip on boots with good ankle support, well I found them. They're well built, good stitching, and the sole is made with a durable rubber. Fit true to size, comfortable right out of the box. I have big wide feet and it's difficult to find boots and shoes that fit me. Purchased a 14 wide and the toe box has adequate space for my fat foot. The vamp of the boot does not bite into your foot like another review stated, so no worries there. I will update once I wear them for work. I am on my feet 16 hours a day, climbing ladders, kneeling, in and out of trenches, etc. so they will be put to the test. Overall I think they'll hold up fine. EDIT: Still the most comfortable boots I have ever purchased. These are now my go to boot. Still holding up well to daily work abuse. I prefer these over my tennis shoes for daily wearability and comfort. If you're in need of a solid boot with no break in, look no further. ... show more

These are nice boots. They are a little wider and more roomier than others. I purchased the wide first and return them for the standard width which fit nice) they are comfortable, leather is nice and what you would expect for a work boot. After trying blundstone, redback, which to me seemed cheaper made, thiner material, my only complaint with the Georgia boot is the lack of tread on the bottom. For a work boot it needs more tread. If you want to do any hiking, walking in the woods.. these slick soles will be an issue. Not sure why anyone would build a work boot that has no tread— seems stupid to me.     • Good boots but no customer service

While the boot itself is ok. Unfortunately, customer service is nonexistent. Bought the boots for work and few coworkers also bought them because of the affordable price for the quality you get. But the boot started taking in water inside after a few months and you get this squeak while walking that gets pretty annoying overtime. Tried drying it. Switching insole. And nothing. Contacted the company to see if we can somehow resolve the issue but no response at all. Not looking for anything free but atleast something or some kind of help to point me in the right direction of what to do. Ended up just buying a different boot and tossed my Georgia boot in the trash. So again, the boot itself is good enough for the money. But just keep in mind if you ever have issues with it that you might not here it from them and best to just get a different pair. ... show more
