Great replacement!
Changed this 3RD gear pressure switch on my Acura TL 05 . Made a huge difference. Tranny shifts smoother, no more lag between gears . Made my 2001 Honda Odyssey transmission shift, if not completely like new, then like it hasn't in quite a long time.
If you have a shifting problem with an older Honda Odyssey, before you get a complete transmission rebuild, at least eliminate this pressure switch as the problem. Immediately before installation, the transmission lurched often when shifting between first and second gear. After reviewing this site and others on the web -- and having this part being ID'd by my shop -- I conveniently bought this part from this vendor. The USPS tracking system was very good. This little part literally made my 2001 Honda Odyssey transmission shift, if not completely like new, then like it hasn't in quite a long while. Fair warning: It looks like an "oil" pressure switch. This is the updated version of 28610-ray-003 and works in all 3rd gen TL's.
This is a genuine 4th gear pressure switch compatible with 2004-2008 acura TL 5at and supersedes 28610 ray 003 Workes and installed as expected in my 04.

Perfect fit and the car runs great with no codes P1839!
The part arrived on time and it was a perfect fit. I used to get DTC P1839 and the code stopped right after replacing this part. My mechanic had to make space underneath the car to reach the 3rd clutch pressure switch. The splashguard had to be removed to create the necessary handspace. If you are one who is well versed with working underneath the car and with all the tools, it is really a 15 minute job. The mechanic struggled a bit to remove the splashguard which is really plastic pins holding plastic together...overall, it was done in less than 15 minutes. Keep a watch out for a little ATF spill when you remove the switch...also ensure that you dont touch or apply any pressure on the black head since that contains the diaphragm that responds to pressure and you wouldnt want to mess with that when you are inserting the 3rd clutch pressure in.

I had the item for less than 4 months. Replacing my stock one, but now it says it needs another replacement? It came brand new and everything...I don't understand why I would need a replacement in less than 4 months after replacing my other one.
