I got a P1739 problem code on my 2001 Odyssey which indicated the 3rd clutch pressure switch had a problem. I bought this sensor, and it installed perfectly. A bit of a pain to remove the splash shields. The sensor did not come with a washer, and luckily I already had an extra aluminum washer, so no leaks.     • Good first step if running down a P0730 error code
This pressure switch is a good first step if you are running down a P0730 code for a Honda. I am troubleshooting a 2003 Honda Pilot and this was the first part I replaced in troubleshooting the code. Symptoms: Sometimes slow to engage/hesitates or bangs into reverse, hesitates when shifting into or out of third gear (going 2->3, or 4->3).     • Quick and easy fix.
Was getting randomly a flashing D light on my dash. Someone suggested to try this past first before going to any sort of mechanic or dealer. Wow. A 15 minute fix. Now my truck is shifting so smooth I didn’t even realize it wasn’t shifting good before. Definitely worth it so far.
