The advantage of this product is that it avoids the rusting and scratching hazards you get with metal wires. The downside is that it can break and is not as sturdy against the gnawing teeth of small animals. For me I use it more to keep harmful creates away for the gardening, and is better than the metal version because of how light weight and flexible it is. It is also reasonably sturdy and is not going to give way anytime soon.

The media could not be loaded. We like this wire mesh because it’s so versatile. It’s strong yet easy to cut and get the shape we want. It doesn’t poke like the traditional metal wire mesh does. It’s easy to assemble and take apart and reuse again as it doesn’t get rust.

I use this mainly to keep voles out of my root crops: while the holes are actually large enough for a vole to squeeze through it works when used under the soil to keep voles (and moles, tho they don't bother my plants) from tunneling into the garden and eating carrots and potatoes before I get to harvest them.

Think of traditional metal chicken wire and now imagine it in black plastic; that's all this is. It is easy to install and should withstand the apocalypse. I purchased this to close off some gaps in my compost bin. I found that the holes in this chicken wire were much larger compared to one I purchased before. Not ideal for my use, but that doesn't detract from the product itself.

Regular chicken wire can easily get bent out of shape but this is pliable while still keeping it's shape. It is easy to use and easy to cut. It is lightweight but sturdy and seems to be good a quality. This will be enough to cover the size of my project and I think it will look good too. I live in a very hot climate that is rough on anything plastic so I'll see how this performed but I think it will last for several years.
