...it would be nice if Genmitsu will make a bigger one for someone that expands to a 600x600 or 1000x1020 extension. I guess there are 3rd party and other CNC machines to look at for when I go that big, but 4030 V1 being my first dive into CNC, I have found this a nice attachment when I bought it on sale to take the next step from 3 axis. I am limited to 8in items for safety clearance and typically go 7.5in designs to trim off edges and then I could stack them to make longer columns for trophies and etc. Good practice for when I go bigger CNC and get another 4th axis for larger builds. This build will continue as a secondary option in my shop when needed, so overall a good investment into the foray without dropping too much cash to get started. Fairly plug and play, some minor adjustments (make sure you adjust your $101 parameter per diameter) and I'm making some clean stuff. I use Carveco Maker and UGS and things are fairly precise and controllable. Made some different size caps with a center point to mount for consistent centering of columns to the opposite of motor end, shown in pic.

Not only do the holes not line up as pictured in th manual with the aluminum bed installed, but the hardware to bolt down to it doesn't even fit in the slots of the bed. If we as users have to figure out how to bolt it down ourselves, with our own hardware, it's cheaper to buy a 3rd party 4th axis option that does the same job.

When you add a rotary attachment to a milling machine with X, Y, and Z axes, the additional axis is typically called the A-axis. This axis allows for rotational movement around the X-axis, enabling the milling machine to perform rotary machining operations such as milling cylindrical parts or engraving on curved surfaces. I have ordered a Prover XL 4030 V1 through the college procurement department. It has not arrived yet so I can't say how well it worked yet. Maybe I can revise my review?
