Chinese crap. The pump I received was defective. I called the "customer support" number and talked to a young person who had very little idea how the product worked. He started looking for online videos to answer my question until I told him he wouldn't find a video concerning a missing pin in the fuel port. I asked for a technician and he said wasn't one wasn't available at present. I asked when one would be available and got a run around for a response. We'll, guess what?-- there is no technician. This pump is a brilliant idea, but this Chinese company just won't follow through with consistent quality control and real customer support. So, if you buy one of these you might get a good one... or, you might not. It's a crap shoot. ... show more

    • Pay close attention to your power source!

Instructions suck. Make certain you’ve got a clean 12v power source. My Predator 3500 couldn’t power it from the 12v outlet, needed to connect directly to the 12v battery.

Absolute JUNK. Pump quit working after a few months. Replaced with same pump twice. Junk as well. Shut off sensor deteriorated putting crap in my card. Had to buy new carb. Buyer beware.

Initial reaction - This pump seems to work well on my Predator 3500 inverter generator using the G2 1/4 adapter (option B in the description photos). A few caveats. The hose that's included has the Yamaha type connectors (shown in the picture), NOT the Johnson/Evinrude type. Also the pump wouldn't work when plugged into the 12V port on the generator. It did light up, but wouldn't pump fuel. This is apparently because the so-called 12V port is unregulated and actually was putting out 19+ volts. So I had to add a port to the generator that is wired directly to the generator's battery terminals. This measured at 13.4V and allowed the pump to work correctly. I will try to update this review after I've used it more. UPDATE: The pump has been working great with the power coming directly from the generator battery. However the sight glass cracked. The top broke completely off when I tried to remove it. Had to use an EZ-out to remove it. Even though Genmax is sending me a new sight glass, I'm putting a stainless steel plug with Gasoila thread tape in its place. Went to an event, got this setup, working great! While the rv was cooling, I jumped on the sxs and checked out the area, come back about an hour later, fuel all over my bran new generator and a giant puddle of gasoline all around the gen and my rv... it blew the sight glass off and just kept on pumping ... show more
