Although there’s nothing wrong with the coolant, the gallon did come with the safety seal already popped. Not the most confidence inducing but it was still okay to use in my corvette.

This is the factory stuff that came with my Silverado, It was a few bucks more expensive than the other brands but I have no doubt about compatibility with my motor or the old fluid. You only change it every 100,000 miles so why risk a rusted head gasket or something else.

When you have a Northstar engine, you know that the cooling system and cooling system maintenance is job one. I only use DEX-cool in these vehicles. You might be able to find an off-brand cheaper, but I am sticking to the OEM recommendation. Conveniently delivered to the door.
