  • The only "cheap" Fiber HDMI 2.1 cable I know that works.
Size: 20m Gen 2
The media could not be loaded. I first learned about them from a Home Theater installer who only found this cable and a $600 one to pass spec, so he only uses them. I did a lot of research before buying, and this was the only "cheap" fiber cable that is HDMI 2.1 40Gbps certified, and passed HDMI cable testers. The only other option that was close was the Ruipro "Teal", but people have issues with them as well. I'm glad to say that hooking my PC with RTX 4090 to my JBL SDP-55 Pre/Pro via the 20m/65ft version resulted in no issues. I put about 2 hours of Horizon Zero Dawn running 4K/120hz HDR (solid 120fps VSYNC'd) at max settings, and bitstreaming the 7.1 lossless audio (can't remember if it's Atmos). The Gen 2 cables don't have the overheating issues like the Gen 1s. My 4090 put that to the test, because after my gaming session, the Phoossno was too hot to touch for more than a few seconds, but it never had any issues. I also test 4K/120hz 12bit (instead of 10bit), and it worked too. I'm very happy with it, and I recommend that people not waste their time with the cheaper fiber cables because they don't actually meet the 40Gbps spec. ... show more

  • High quality 4K@120Hz cable for long connection needs
Size: 10m Gen 2
This is one of the very few certified HDMI 2.1 cables with extra length on the market at the time of my review. I use this to connect my RTX 3080 graphics card with LG C1 OLED TV. The cable I got is 10 m (30 ft) Gen 2 active (1-directional, with source & display clearly labeled). The cable supports 4K 120Hz, HDR, and VRR in my setup, hence fully utilizing the gaming capability of the OLED TV. I also verified the HDMI 2.1 certification using the HDMI App. The quality of the cable appears high, it’s thin and very flexible, a plus for routing through my in wall setup. Their customer service is very responsive. Before my purchase, they answered my questions to explain their Gen 2 version has made a lot of improvements for the RTX 3080 and suggested I should get that. But they only have the 10 m version in stock while I only need 7 m. Their rep set up a special discount for me to match the 10 m price with their 7 m (Gen 2) one. A decision I’m glad I made. Overall, if you need a high speed HDMI cable with length exceeding normal, I highly recommend this cable. It’s not cheap but you get what you pay for. Their customer service is also excellent. ... show more

  • Not working and unreliable
Size: 10m Gen 2
The media could not be loaded. I purchased this premium HDMI cable expecting top-tier performance given its hefty price tag and certifications. Unfortunately, it’s been nothing but a disappointment. While the cable detects connected devices, it completely fails to display any image on the screen. I’ve tried multiple devices, ports, and troubleshooting steps, but the result is always the same—no video output. A certified and expensive product like this should not fail, or at the very least, the failure rate should be extremely low. However, after reading other reviews, it’s clear that this issue is far too common with this product. For something marketed as "premium," this is unacceptable. A basic HDMI cable at a fraction of the cost performs better. Before making your purchase, consider and take your time searching for other products before deciding on this one. It may have good performance according to the reviews written here, but there is a chance you might receive a product that doesn't work. Premium price should equal premium quality, but this product is a clear example of how marketing can overshadow reliability. ... show more

  • HDMI Fiber
So finally had chance to install cable, equipment located in adjacent room, so need for long hdmi cable. This replaces a 4k rated fiber cable that worked well with 1080 source and some 4k content, but not hdr or DV , it stutters. OK so new Cable works perfectly , able to send both 4k Dolby Vision & Atmos content , no flickering, no stutter, HDR10 etc. No issues, Audio is working properly, just hope it lasts a few years , quite a deal to re run cable and lift 75 " TV off the wall, pita. Be careful with cable, its fiber ,not 100% copper, also its only 1 Way directional ... show more

  • Worked Great…for a little while (BUT REPLACED)
Size: 10m Gen 2
Update 2/3/24: Reached out to the company and explained the issue and they have already agreed to send out a replacement for free. Should be arriving fairly quickly, so I’m pretty pleased so far with the customer service here. I will come back subsequently to update. I will update review to 3 stars and then to 5 if this replacement lasts. Original Review: Purchased this towards the end of 2022 and it was great! Used it to connect from my PC to my LG OLED tv and there weren’t any issues! I ran the cable along the wall in my living room and the cable was never touched. After almost a year of not using my tv as a second display, I decided to use it for some gaming, but the tv could no longer find a signal. I tried reinstalling graphics card drivers, adjusting resolution and even tried a fresh install of Windows. Nothing worked. To make sure it was the cable, I tried it out with various other devices, but same result. It’s sad because this cable isn’t cheap, but it seems that I’ll need to find another solution for my needs… ... show more

  • works great if it doesn't overheat
Size: 7.5m Gen 2
Update 08/22: seller contacted me and offered to send a replacement cable. The new one did not get as hot and worked great for over an hour, then started to fail. I'm using a Denon AVR and it runs hot. On a hunch I decided to add a short HDMI extension cable, thinking this might reduce the heating from the AVR on the cable. This worked! The HDMI cable now works perfectly - ran it for several hours now without a single glitch. Excellent customer service from the seller and it looks like this is a great HDMI fiber optic cable after all, with the one caveat that it is kept away from any heat sources. I'd love to know how this was certified. It worked great for the first 15 minutes or so, then started acting up. A few minutes later there was no picture at all. Denon AVR connected directly to a Sony Z9 display. Conventional 15 meter cable works flawlessly and has for years. I see from the reviews that I'm not the only one who had this problem. ... show more
