This thing is a beast! I love it. Way more than I needed to help clear a small area that I want to use to expand my little garden area. Not super heavy but very solid; although I did need to tighten the head up a little (for safety concerns) as it seemed a little loose. I could see this being very useful in a ranch or farm setting: clearing brush, etc. Four stars because I really do think that loose head should have been caught by quality control somewhere along the line. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Opened it and boxed it right back up. Loose head rattled like crazy and large chips in the coating. Might have reluctantly kept it if it were a $20 investment. Not sure where the $100 goes when they are producing this.

Between Prohoe Rogue 70HR 7" and 55HR 5.5" Hoe/Rakes the Gemplers 7" Steel Rake Hoe will serve, but is lighter duty, thinner steel, and does not come as sharp as do the others. The one I received needs a little TLC as the handle is not quite snug enough to avoid room for a piece of paper. If you need and can take the extra weight, value for money goes to Prohoe. Update: Post TLC this is a can do tool. Wide as the 70 and light as the 55. Plus its a fine tamper for an old trail worker. ... show more
