    • Works for Light Cleaning, Best Results with a Brush Assist – Safe for Gold-Plated Pieces
I tested this solution in an ultrasonic cleaner using the 480-second cycle on several items: solid gold rings, gold-plated bracelets, and a pair of silver earrings. On its own, the cleaner was somewhat effective. It removed loose buildup like everyday lotion residue and light grime, especially from the back of rings and between links on the gold-plated bracelets. The pieces looked fresher after the cycle, but they didn’t have the bright “just polished” shine I was hoping for. Where this solution really performed was when I added a little manual brushing. I dipped a soft toothbrush in the liquid and added a drop of Dawn dish soap. With about 30 seconds of gentle scrubbing, the jewelry—particularly the gold-plated bracelets—came out noticeably brighter and more reflective than with the ultrasonic cycle alone. I was careful to use a very soft brush on plated items to avoid wearing the finish, and it didn’t cause any visible damage. Specific for ultra sonic cleaners, this is a jeweler grade product. Has worked well to clean gold jewelry. Easy to use pre- measured pouches. Always use a polishing cloth after use for best results on gold.

This jewelry cleaner is the real deal. I get my jewelry inspected and cleaned at Zales. Every time I get my jewelry inspected I always ask the girl which is always someone different, what they use to clean the jewelry, they always tell me I can use dawn soap or a mild degreaser with hot water. This is the first time a girl actually grabbed the packet and told me what it was called. So obviously I searched on Amazon to see if they had it.
