It does smell like rotten eggs but hey that's not a big deal if you want to get the job done easily. This stuff is amazing! Drop into jar and lightly shake! This liquid not cream. My last container lasted me about 7 years because I only use it for my jewelry. The trick is to keep the lid on tight even while cleaning so it doesn’t evaporate! I love that It comes with the tray that sits inside of jar. I wish I did before and after pics. I may upload later (after my next cleaning) and edit this review. I do blot my jewelry it lightly and wipe off the excess liquid after removing from the dipping tray. I’ve used this for many years, quick, and usually easy to use. This time, the plastic seal on top to ensure it doesn’t leak would come entirely off around the edge of the jars making it difficult if not impossible to pull the basket out without making a mess. I Tried pulling plastic rim off with pliers but it comes off in that one pinch size. Would return it, but I bought it before my other jar was completely done and I’ve missed the return window.
