I recently started using the Gellen Nail Dust Collector and it’s quickly become a must-have when I use my electric nail file. (I used to just hope for the best, and brush the dust off into the air. Ugh!) The suction is impressively strong, the 4000 RPM fan really keeps dust under control. I love the easy-to-read LED display and how simple the whole unit is to use. The reusable filter is another great plus; it’s easy to clean and saves me from constantly buying replacements. IThat said, I haven't used it enough to need to clean it much. If you want a reliable dust catcher that performs consistently and makes clean-up way easier, this one definitely delivers.

The fan is fine and does it's job. The positive is that you can select the power/suction level. The negative is that the removable top does not secure firmly and the unit is not solid (a little flimsy). My concern is whether it will last long.

The media could not be loaded. This nail dust collector is a great option for both salons and at-home DIY use. It has a clean white design that looks very professional for any setup. The fan is quite powerful (up to 4000 RPM), yet on lower settings it’s quiet enough to hold a normal conversation. At higher speeds it does get louder… you’ll need to raise your voice a bit… but that doesn’t bother me (less small talk isn’t a bad thing!) Operation is simple. It offers 15 adjustable speed settings, making it easy to customize based on your needs. The level is clearly displayed on an easy-to-read LCD screen and controlled with a simple dial on the front. It also has a storage bag too. One of my favorite features is the reusable filter… such a big plus not having to constantly buy replacements. Overall, this is a professional-looking dust collector with strong suction to keep nail dust under control.

Amazing! This nail dust collector is extremely efficient and effective! Quickly removes dust particles in the air and around the area. Suction vacuum fan is extremely powerful. I actually used this when I had to patch a drywall hole, I used it while sanding and it worked perfectly! It’s a bit loud but it works quickly and is better than the alternative. Great quality and value, product is sturdy and durable. Highly recommend!

I've used this product a number of times now as I do my own gel nails at home and need to drill off the old polish. Usually it makes such a mess and smell with the particulates in the air that land everywhere ! I didn't really think this would work 100% I thought it could help catch the majority of the dust if I drilled right on top of it, at least preventing a complete cleanup. I was wrong. This product catches EVERYTHING. I cant smell the chemical particulates anymore. There's no dust to clean up afterwards. Yes its a bit noisy but you can tell it's working jn overdrive, and you could always lower the setting easily with the turn knob to adjust the fan speed. I am in complete awe about how well this thing works. Its absolutely incredible.

Gellen Nail Dust Collector with LED Display, 4000RPM, with Reusable Filter (ASIN : B0DKBTL9W8) I'm not planning on doing much nail art that requires grinding, but it's nice to have this on hand for shaping my natural nails. The listing also suggests it can be used for fine sanding for small craft projects - it's nice to have multiple uses, especially since it's larger than I thought, so there is a space storage concern. It comes with a satin-like bag to store it, but its box is nice and sturdy, with a flap closure, which allows it to store on a shelf on end, so it takes up less space. The main time I file and grind my nails is before a pedicure. I use a nail rotary tool to thin and shape some toenails. This dust collector has a nice long cord, making it easier to position for my pedicure. I like that the filter is washable, so I don't have to buy replacement filters all the time. The adjustable speeds are nice, but the fan makes a noticeable rattle at the lower speeds, 10 to 80 or so. I don't hear it as much once it gets over 80, but then the fan noise gets louder, too. The user's manual is pretty brief, so they don't explain how to clean the filter. The safety will cut the motor fairly quickly, if the lid is removed.
