My caps are mostly NewEra and Yupoong. This Gelante brand cap is a small step down in quality. But is perfectly acceptable for the under $10 price. When looking closely and comparing the quality side-by-side, you can see the stitching and materials is not on the level of NewEra or Yupoong. But it's not a fair comparison when you take the price into consideration. NewEra caps are 4x the price of this Gelante cap. At a glance and everyday usage, the differences in quality and materials is not noticeable. My son loves this cap. There are many colors to choose from. He is not that big a fan of professional team sports, so he likes that this cap does not have a logo or sports team on it. He likes the fit and the flat brim. For me, it's cheap enough, that if he loses the cap at school, or at the park, it's no big deal. He can sit on it, stuff it into a backpack, leave it on the floor. No biggie. I would get more annoyed if he did that with a pricey NewEra cap. Perfect for kids.

Color and quality are nice. I suspect the hat will last a long time. The brim is very stiff, so if you want the brim to remain flat for a long time, this is probably the hat for you.

This is a great hat. Well made. Stitching is great. No branding. It fits very comfortably and the bill can be shaped to fit your preference. Would make a great blank for promotional use too!
