So I bought this hat to replace another Boonie hat I got at Target on an impulse buy. After receiving this hat, I returned my Target purchase because I liked this one so much. First of all, the all cotton construction is with quality fabric that has heavy duty stitching to reinforce the brim of the hat and other pressure points. The inside has no liner, which makes it extremely comfortable to wear and breathable for your noggin. The brim of the hat is 3 1/4" wide, which provides ample shade when out in the sun. The button downs are riveted to the hat and seem durable, with the back of the male button being located just under the headband inside the hat, which means no irritation of your head. All in all, I am pleasently surprised at the design, quality, and durability of the hat.
