I got this for my girlfriend because she likes to paint her nails herself. The color change is pretty vibrant, and the glitter gives a lot of depth. The paint is UV, so you'll need the little light to cure the gel/paint; it doesn't really dry/set unless you use the lamp. It seems to last a while, and doesn't really chip or flake off. The blue and purple colors are good and bold. The color changing with temperature works very well. I can always tell when my GF has cold hands now. The changing happens pretty fast, and seems to work no matter how often the color changes. No fading, slow changing, or any in-between coloration. It rapidly goes from purple to blue or the other way, depending upon the temperature of the nails/fingers/toes. Totally worth the low price, if you want to do your own nails. Just like the title says, the first thing that absolutely blew my mind was how temperature sensitive this polish is! It changes color very beautifully and frequently! I was also afraid that the formula might be too thick because of all the glitter particles but surprisingly, it was super easy to apply! Three thin coats and I had the perfect winter mani! I have applied a matte top coat in the photo! It looks stunning glossy too! I absolutely love how it looks like I have done a pond mani!😊 ... show more

Giving 4 stars and honest review. This product is very thick, not smooth or easy to blend definitely have to work fast with long pulls. Where as most or typically you would push to cuticle and blend down. However it is very pigmented, low/no oder and very beautiful in color. So far hasn't chipped or cracked off and the overall look is bright and lots of glitter. Tempura does only have a dramatic change in water. However it does change slightly from house to car or job etc. But instantly goes right back to base shade. Over another product from Modelones that am satisfied with.!! This nail polish is absolutely beautiful. When warm, and is a nice pale turquoise color and when cold is a rich deep purple. The glitter in it shows up nicely without being too much. My experience with other nail polish is that the glitter can sometimes feel chunky on the nail, but this lace smooth. Polish goes on very nicely and stays nice. Highly recommend. ... show more

I just received this today. The photo showed purple to pink. What I received is purple to light blue, which I much more prefer. So I am happy that it didn’t match the photos! Without knowing the color used for the base, and how many coats of this polish was used, the true color does not match the pictures. The blue is more baby/sky blue and the purple is more red than violet, rather than both being the shown royal shades. The glitter is a nice touch but is hard to get to stay in place - try to spread a polish puddle and either remove the sparkle or make it stand up at a weird angle. I have not had it long enough so cannot comment on how it wears or removes. I used one coat of colored base and two coats of the color change sparkle polish (3 coats in the case of the “clear” base). ... show more

I've used modelones gel polishes for about 2 years now, and this color changing polish is my new fave. It's semi-sheer which I usually don't like, but it actually looks good with the color- changing aspect, so I only did my normal 2 coats of color and I love the end result. Any more opaque would probably make the glitter hard to see, anyways. Since my nails extend about 5mm past my fingertips, it gives a french-tip effect as the extended nail tends to stay colder than the base. Totally recommend this polish! ... show more
