I use this tank for play fish and treasures. I have a profoundly autistic Grandmonster and this was bought for him as a gift. This is hands down the best gift we have ever gotten him. He puts his plastic little fish, turtles, and all his other sea friends and watches them go! This can be used in so many ways. But most importantly it's made strudy and absolutely zero leaks, the tank has not discolored it is absolutely as beautiful as when we bought it for Christmas. The size is absolutely perfect. My Grandmonster can pick it up and move it while having water inside of it. Of course the water is only approximately a half gallon. But has never cracked, this thing is awesome and good and strong. This product was so awesome for just about one week. I had a less expensive plastic aquarium, small, from another provider, and within a few days, the small plastic aquarium began to lose its clarity, and the plastic began to cloud. I was thinking about how sad it was and I should’ve bought a better product. This morning when I walked past my tank to go get a cup of coffee, I thought to myself gosh that doesn’t look very clear. Oh my goodness. This tank that I have loved so much has now began to cloud and I will be replacing it within the next day or two with glass. I have a bad Back, and I wanted the lightweight of this tank compared to heavier tank mates that are glass. I was very wrong about its reviews and quality. Lesson learned. This tank held a sorority of female bettas and so it will take me a while to redesign my new cube that is coming. I have read mini experienced fish keepers comments, and they all say that no one should claim that a plastic fish aquarium is sufficient for live aquatics because they will cloud every time and there is nothing you can do about it. I wish Geelin would have commented about the risk. ... show more

Pros: sturdy, holds water fine Cons: Plastic is slightly opaque, seams are very visible, pricey I'm using it to house copepods and green water so aesthetics was secondary. But for the same price I would go with a glass bowl for display
