    • Great screwdriver set
Great screwdriver set. I'm a heavy machinery mechanic. I'm very happy with my 20pc set. I had a ton of mix match screwdrivers and it was just annoying to look at. So I purchased this set for 70 bucks and stuck the others in my cart. I've always had a couple sets of gearwrench picks that have held up just as well as my snap on, so this decision was a fast and easy one. One of my favorite thing about these screwdrivers is their dual material handles. I keep my tools very clean and I use brake clean to do this most of the time and they hold up perfectly. They don't melt away like a lot of handles and the part number is one the shaft. The little screwdrivers have the part numbers on the handles but those are for baby jobs and shouldn't ever get dirty. If you haven't picked up a set of their picks, those are the perfect addition to this set and you won't be disappointed. Lifetime warranty is nice and I won't be complaining about a couple bucks for shipping if I ever break one. Ive put a good hurting on these so far removing seals and prying a lot of random crap. I bought a set. High-quality grinds on hardened steel shanks with a comfortable grip! I even bought the companion hose hook set with matching blow-molded case for less than twenty bucks more. These are very similar to a smaller, much more expensive set belonging to a popular [tool truck] brand. After I bought these and used them, I saw these in the hands of the mechanics at Gas Monkey garage and on other popular TV shows. If they're good enough to build $50,000 to $1,000,000 cars with, and if it's what they have in their tool boxes, then I guess these are going to be good enough for me? I like the expensive [tool truck] set, don't get me wrong... but for 1/8th the cost of that smaller set, this will do everything I will ever need screwdrivers for around my house and garage. If you take care of them, they'll last you forever just like the expensive ones do when you take care of them. Unless you have kids... or if you're going to have kids... then either set would mysteriously disappear. Which one would you rather lose? ... show more

    • Good for the price, but not as good as USA made
For the price, these screwdrivers are good. Not the same quality as USA made options, but less expensive. I greatly prefer the US brands, but bought this for our vacation home where my tools don't get as much use. Be aware that there is a tradeoff with the magnetic tips because for every time you use this feature to hold a screw without two hands to get it started there is another time where you have carefully placed a screw in an awkward place and the driver tip sucks it out before you can get it started. However, for philips screws if you always start the screw on the driver tip it's probably better to to have the magnetic tips. This doesn't work as well for flatheads though. ... show more

I rarely want to write reviews but these screwdrivers are fantastic. I am just in the process of building out my mechanics tool chest and purchased these. Previously I had used craftsman and Kline screwdrivers which are fine, but these are head and shoulders above. They have magnetic tips, comfortable handles and a great organizational tray. All of these reason make this the best quality and value that I see on the market. I haven’t used snapon screwdrivers, but with a lifetime warranty and a ton of benefits I think these are fantastic. ... show more

    • This is the professional level screwdriver set that you're looking for.
Most important; these screwdrivers have hardened tips and the finish of the tip is semi-rough so that the tip gets a good "not prone to slipping" interface with the screw head. The handle is made from a nonslip material and is large enough for those with big hands to get a good grip; but shaped so that those with a smaller hand will enjoy the same easy to handle benefit. I have great experience with many other brands, none of which I will mention by name; and prefer these over any screwdrivers that have resin handles that are difficult to grip or have polished tips that are prone to slipping and stripping screw heads. You have to reach for "professional" or "extreme" level products to find a comparable product to these Gearwrench screwdrivers. You will also have to reach for your wallet twice as those comparable "professional" or "extreme" level products are going to be double the cost of the Gearwrench screwdriver set. ... show more
