These are fair drag straps (not ropes). They are made of quality material and the handle on it is comfortable in the hand. The one rather significant concern I had is that they are single stitched. The did do a box X stitch which is good, but they didn't do it double stitched. Seems like a missed opportunity for a few cents of thread and a few minutes of manufacturing. Other straps like this are heavier duty or similar material but have a double stitch box x stitch instead and that's the only big drawback. The other feature I really liked about this is the hi-viz on the strap. It lets people know you're coming and you likely won't lose it dropping it out of your stand or out of your pack/pocket as you'll be able to find it quickly with a flashlight or just the reflection of the sun. Great cushioned handle to keep your hand comfortable. The strap could be a couple feet shorter to allow for better leverage. But it gets the job done. Just got back from pulling a doe out of the woods. Comes in a 2 pack. Give one to a friend.

This drag strap has a nice weight and quality. I like that it's bright orange so it's easy to find in my hunting gear. The handle is not as nice as it's plastic and solid so not sure how it will hold up over multiple uses. Overall it's decent.

    • Beats tying a rope to a stick!
Yeah, that's what I usually do. Tie a rope to a stick. This is a big improvement over that, and will make that drag a lot more comfortable. My biggest complaint is that it doesn't include a double hand grip. Sometimes you aren't going to get very far with one arm, and it would be nice to be able to clip on a larger handle in my backpack if needed. ... show more

I got my deer!! Bow hunting makes it very challenging to get a deer. I just harvested my first deer with a bow in 5 years! I am pretty pumped. I gotta say that this GearOZ Deer Drag actually came in handy for more that just dragging the deer. I tracked the deer to a thicket of broomstick size trees where it dropped. I had to drag it out which meant lots of rubbing of this drag strap across all kinds of small trees with broken off branches, etc. Pretty nasty stuff. Once I got the deer into a more open area, I field dressed it and then decided to get my ATV to haul it back to the truck. The deer was in a smallish but pretty deep hole/valley in the woods and I was a little concerned about finding it when I came back with the ATV. Well, I decided to hang the handle on a higher, nearby branch. The blaze orange really stuck out against the grayish back drop of the broomstick tree trunks. When I came to the edge of the hole, I had to chuckle to myself. The deer location couldn't have been more obvious if I had a flashing red light on it. The strap REALLY stuck out, making locating the deer very easy. I also used this strap to drag out the deer using the ATV. I inspected the strap afterwards and I am confident that after a wash, this thing will be just like new. The fact that you get TWO of these little wonders for less than $20 makes this a great value! ... show more

    • Provides me with a great method of dragging game out of the woods - Easy on my hands.
Product arrived in a timely manner and was well packaged. This product contains 2 drags for removing game from the field. The straps are orange with a black stripe. Each drag has 60 inches of the orange and black material connected to a black and orange handle. These are simple to use, at the end away from the handle there is a sewn loop. With a buck the entire rope simply goes through the loop and is pulled tight for an anchor point. Five feet is ample room to be in front of the game and be able to pull with the cushioned handle. When not in use I roll up strap around the handle and put in one of my pockets. They are very light weight. Nice to have 2 in the set so that I have one and my son has one. If we get only one animal we can connect both to the animal to make it an easier pull. Ideal for snow on the ground, works like a sled. I approve of this product. ... show more

These drag "ropes" are well constructed with a solid handle that should hold up to multiple uses. I like the fact that it comes as a set, and that they are blaze orange with reflective material (for visibility). Other drag ropes I've used have only consisted of a single device which sometimes caused feet to get tangled while my hunting partner and I were dragging game out of the woods. Okay, let's face it, the chances of my getting to use this to drag a buck out of the woods is slim. First, I've only bagged a deer once. Second, while these straps are clearly super strong, there is no way - as I know from my first experience of downing a deer - of managing to drag him on my own. So, one strap for me and another for my fellow hunter, right? On another note, the straps are brighter than hunter orange and the handles are soft and strong. As the instruction card points out these straps have many uses. TRUE! I actually intend to use them this Thanksgiving when my mother visits and we have to push (and pull thanks to these straps) her wheelchair up the lawn bypassing the front steps!
